Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

Raise Materia Guide - Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

By
Shane Williams

There are many Materia to track down in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and they all offer unique abilities, such as Revival which gives you access to the Arise and Raise skills. On this page, we’ll provide you with the necessary steps to finding the Revival Materia and how to best use it.

The Revival Materia can be found in the North Corel area.

Revival Materia Location in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

The Revival Materia can’t be found until you reach the "Corel Region" iconCorel Region which doesn’t become accessible until Chapter 7. From here, you’ll want to progress through the story some more until you reach "North Corel" iconNorth Corel and then the Revival Materia can be found between some barrels and a railing to the east of the materia vendor. Alternatively, you can wait until chapter 10 and purchase it from the materia vendor in the "Cosmo Canyon" iconCosmo Canyon for 10,000 Gil.

How to Use the Revival Materia in FF7 Rebirth

Once you’ve obtained the Revival Materia, head on over to the Materia & Equipment Option in the menu and equip it to Aerith as she’s more of a healer type class, but you can give it to any of the other party members. This will give you access to the Raise Spell which will revive a fallen teammate without needing to rely on a "Phoenix Down" iconPhoenix Down. However, we recommend that you level up the Revival Materia as quickly as possible in order to gain access to the Arise Spell, as it’ll revive a teammate with a full HP.

Look behind the barrels to find the Revival Materia.

You can do this easily by linking it with an AP Up or "Level Boost Materia" iconLevel Boost Materia or by following our Leveling Materia Fast guide. Having access to both Raise and Arise will be invaluable as you start progressing into the second half of the game as you’ll constantly be able to revive your teammate when you’re tackling difficult bosses or combat simulator challenges.
