Getting Back on Your Feet

Following the events of the Easy Riders Main Quest, you’ll find yourself in a very injured state and while Sir Hans Capon is dragging you along to find some help you’ll be hallucinating based on the events of the first game. You’ll end up at a random hut in the woods and a Herbwoman named Bozhena has the correct resources to get you back on your feet. Before you head back out and start exploring Medieval Bohemias once more, there are a few steps you should take to see if you’re up to the task.

Stopping Bleeding

You’re currently heavily bleeding from your torso so open up your inventory by pressing down on the D-Pad on Console or I on PC and then use one of the bandages.

Preventing Hunger

(1 of 2) Use a Bandage to stop the bleeding

Use a Bandage to stop the bleeding (left), and eat some food from the pot to prevent losing any more health. (right)

You’re extremely hungry but thankfully there is a fresh pot of food on the stove directly in-front of you which you can take by pressing X/A/E. If you let your hunger get too low you’ll start to see side effects, such as seeing your health slowly drain overtime.

Washing Yourself

As you may expect you’re very dirty from all of the injuries so your next task is washing yourself up. Head outside and interact with the tub of water by pressing X/A/E. You won’t to avoid getting too dirty, as the locals will look down on you and will make it harder to pass skill checks.

Carry the Corpse To the Stream

Head back over to Bozhena and show her your freshened up self, then its time to pay Sir Hans Capon back by creating a Chamomile Decoction but you’ll need some ingredients first. However, Bozhena would like you to deal with the corpse outside so pick up the Spade which can be found leaning up against the fence in the garden and then pick up the corpse which can be found directly next to it and head north until you reach the stream.

Pick Chamomile & Sage

Approach the large patch of mud and begin digging by pressing X/A/E and then place the corpse inside. Make your way back over to the hut and walk up the hill to the side of it until you reach Bozhena’s Meadow, then you’ll find an abundance of Sage and Chamomile. Once you have enough ingredients, return to the hut and you’ll discover that there hostile people outside so pick up the Work Axe from the nearby log and approach them.

(1 of 2) Pick Sage

Pick Sage (left), and Chamomile from the Bozhena’s Meadow. (right)

If you want to resolve the situation without any bloodshed then you’ll want to select the following options: “Let’s talk peacefully”, “You don’t look like von Bergow’s men” and “You’re looking in the wrong place”. Once the soldiers have been dealt with, inform Bozhena that you have the ingredients and then head over to the alchemy bench to brew a healing potion.

Crafting a Chamomile Decoction

To begin crafting the Chamomile Decoction you’ll need to fill up the cauldron with some Wine (second jug to the right) and then place two handfuls of chamomile into the cauldron and boil it for one turn which can be done by turning the hourglass and waiting for the sand to empty. Now, place one handful of Sage into the mortar and use the pestle to grind it, then pour it into the cauldron before finally pouring the liquid into a Phial.

(1 of 2) Use the Bellow to bring the cauldron to the boil

Use the Bellow to bring the cauldron to the boil (left), and use the Mortar and Pestle to grind the Sage (right)

If done correctly, you should have yourself two Chamomile Brews which you give to Bozhena and then it’s time to get some shuteye. Once you’re awake, head out into the garden and sit at the table for some grub and then speak with Hans Capon to decide your next steps and bring the quest to a close.
