Take Back Suchdol¶
Following the scenes, you’ll be back in control of Henry in the outer bailey as you’ll need to deal with the soldiers that survived your initial assault on the Praguers. Henry will be clad in strong armor that is different from what you had equipped when you were in control of him last, as such, you’ll be using a Longsword for this battle. As always with these large battles, let your allies engage the enemy and then attack from the side or behind for easy kills.
Once you clear out the initial battle, feel free to change your equipment and be sure to put some potions such as Marigold decoctions in your pouch. When you’re ready, follow a soldier toward a ladder to the right of the gate along the moat and use it to reach the battlements, where you’ll be immediately challenged by Lamprecht of
Prague, a difficult soldier that can be tricky to defeat. You have the jump on him, though, so if you’re accurate enough with a ranged weapon, you can take him out before he even closes the distance. Otherwise, focus on parrying his attacks and countering, he shouldn’t take too much effort to kill at this stage of the adventure.
(1 of 3) Let your allies initiate combat and attack the Praguers from behind.
Once he falls, head into the room he was guarding and use the lever to open the main gate to let your allies into the courtyard. All that remains now is to join them in the courtyard below and sweep away any remaining soldiers to finally bring the siege of Suchdol to a crushing end.
Go and Hone Hanush’s Sword or Find Sam’s Body¶
Once the scenes have concluded, your next quest objective will vary based on whether you rescued Sam at the end of Reckoning. If you saved him, you must take Hanush’s sword in a conversation with him and then sharpen it in the courtyard, Henry will remark when it’s done.
You’ll also want to take the time to speak to your allies, namely Zizka, Katherine, and Samuel (if he’s alive) to fulfill that objective. Once you’re ready, deliver Hanush’s sword just outside of the castle as he’s speaking with Hans. If Sam didn’t make it, you’ll instead have to get his body down from where it’s hanging by following the objective marker, and then learn the rites for his funeral.
(1 of 2) Sharpen Hanush’s sword and bring it to him.
Sharpen Hanush’s sword and bring it to him. (left), You’ll then get the outcome of your choices during the ending sequence when you go to meet with Radzig. (right)
Meet up with Radzig¶
All that remains now is to head up to the hill outside of Suchdol to meet with Radzig. Henry falls asleep while taking a breather, and dreams of his parents, a scene where your actions throughout Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will be brought into light.
