If you’ve been spending time raising your Stealth and Thievery levels in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, then pay the village of "Wysoka" iconWysoka a visit in the "Kuttenberg region" iconKuttenberg region. A Hired Hand there by the name of Pavel is looking for some assistance, and it will involve a bit of skullduggery to get the job done. Keep reading to learn how to pull off the perfect heist in the All’s fair… side quest.

All’s fair… is a side quest in the Kuttenberg region of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.

Starting the All’s fair… Quest

You won’t gain access to the "Kuttenberg" iconKuttenberg region until you’ve progressed the main story as it’s not until you complete the Storm quest that you’ll reach Kuttenberg for the first time, and even then, you’ll be locked into the introductory main quests of this region before you can jump on your horse and explore it.

Once you’re free to go about your business in this new region, make your way to the village of Wysoka, which can be found by heading south out of "Suchdol" iconSuchdol and following the main path down as it begins heading east. If you’re coming from Kuttenberg, the village is located to the southwest of the region, it’s hard to miss it. Once you get there, look for a Hired Hand by the name of Pavel, speak with him and you’ll learn that after a few beatings, he’s looking for revenge and asks for your assistance.

Steal the book from Father Anthony

You can go about stealing the items in any order that you like, so feel free to jump to any section of this walkthrough for the item you’re looking for. This is perhaps the easiest of the bunch to steal, so long as you make sure "Father Anthony" iconFather Anthony himself is not around, which he usually isn’t during the day. You’ll find his house to the northwest of the village, so head around the back of his house and look to pick the lock (Very Easy difficulty) to get inside.

Once in, be sure to stay crouched so nobody can see you through the windows and enter the first door on your right (which is another Very Easy difficulty lock). Once inside, head over to the book stand and you’ll find "Wysoka priest's alchemy book" iconWysoka priest’s alchemy book to the left of it, pocket it and then leave, remembering to shut the doors on your way out.

(1 of 3) Father Anthony’s house is to the northwest of the village.

Steal Bohushka’s Ring

This is another simple item to steal, provided you know what you’re doing, and there’s no doors to unlock this time around, just a bit of impersonation is needed. Make your way to Bohuska’s house, situated at the southeast of the village, and open the door to find the cook inside. It appears age has caught up with her and when speaking to her, declare that you’re her husband and you’ll get free reign of the house.

Once inside, walk directly in front of you to find a shelf, of which there is plenty of food that she’s been baking. If you look on the middle shelf, you’ll see a basket with four "Poppy seed kolach" iconPoppy seed kolachs in them. Pick up the one in the bottom right and eat it from your inventory to find that poor Bohuska has baked the ring into it. Oh well, that’s another item off the list, even if you had to break some teeth in the process!

(1 of 3) Bohuska’s house can be found to the southeast of the village.

Steal Shoes from Vejmola the Cobbler

Provided you exhausted all of the dialogue options from Pavel at the start of this quest, you should already have your hands on the key to this house, thanks to Pavel being a Hired Hand for the Vejmolas. Their house can be found to the southwest of the village (or opposite Bohuska’s) and you’ll want to wait until it’s evening and the household have gone to sleep.

Once it is, open the front door and quietly go through the first door on your right. There are people sleeping here, so be sure to keep your noise down and your "Torch" iconTorch off before your search in the corner near where the door you opened to find the "Fine shoes of cobbler Vejmola" iconFine shoes of cobbler Vejmola that you’re looking for. After taking them, be sure to shut the doors on your way out to prevent arousing suspicion in the morning.

(1 of 2) The Cobbler’s house is located to the southwest of the village.

Steal the Rosary from Ursula’s Ma

This is arguably the most difficult of the items to steal, depending on your Thievery skill level, so it’s a good idea to leave it towards the end of this quest. As Pavel tells you, the rosary is usually on her person during the day, or put away when she’s sleeping, this leaves you two real opportunities to get this item.

The easiest method, provided you have no trouble with Hard difficulty locks is to wait until the evening, head into the barn and then unlock the door to her bedroom (Very Easy). At this point, you’ll find the chest in the corner and provided you can get it open, you can simply take the rosary and be away.

If Hard difficulty locks are too much for you at this point, you can resort to robbing it during the day. As she walks around the village, wait for a moment for her to be alone and attempt to Pickpocket the item, again, your Thievery skill level will dictate how easy this task is.

If you’re still having trouble with this, one other avenue remains for you. Once Ursula’s Ma leaves her house in the morning around 6am, she’ll walk across the main square and over to the church, at which point she will pray alone. This is the perfect opportunity to sneak up to her, knock her out (don’t kill her!) and then simply loot the rosary from her.

(1 of 3) For the Rosary, lockpick this Hard chest in Ursula’s house at night.

Find the Older Vejmola’s Lost Medal

This final item doesn’t involve any stealing, just a bit of knowhow and paying attention to some of the details you’ve been told. More specifically, that the older Vejmola believes it was stolen by a Magpie, so naturally, you’re looking for a nest. Head to the large tree outside of Bohuska’s and you’ll find the very nest you’re looking for.

If you don’t have any ranged weapons on you, simply crouch and toss a rock at the nest to dislodge it, causing it to tumble to the ground. You can then simply stroll up to it and loot "Vejmola's medallion" iconVejmola’s medallion.

(1 of 4) Head to the tree outside Bohuska’s house.

Hand Over the Stolen Items to Pavel

Once you have all of the items in your possession, it’s time to go and pay Pavel a visit again. During the day, you’ll find him working behind the Vejmola’s house, so head on over and speak with him. At this point, there are a few ways you can resolve the quest.

  • If you hand over the items (or agree to pay Pavel), then he’ll handle the planting of them and you’ll get some Vitality XP as a reward, completing the quest in the process.

  • If you call him out on the inconsistency of being able to plant the items, but not steal them, you’ll learn that his intention all along was to steal the items and make off with the loot for himself. At this point, you can still give him the items/"Groschen" iconGroschen, or refuse and turn them into Father Anthony for some Scholarship XP and a nice reputation boost.
