Ill Repute is a side quest that can be found within the Kuttenberg Region, and can be accessed once you’ve completed A Good Scrub. It’ll require you to help Betty can the councils vote for the Municipal Bathhouse. Read on to find out where you need to go and what you get for completing the quest.

Starting the Ill Repute Side Quest¶

Head to the Kingfisher Bathhouse which is located in the southeast portion of Kuttenberg a few days after completing A Good Scrub and speak with Betty to obtain this follow-up quest. The local council are voting for the Municipal Bathhouse which won’t have to pay the upcoming clean tax, but her rival Adam has one of them in his pocket so you need to intervene to give her a chance.

Help Betty Obtain the Title of Municipal Bathhouse¶

Make your way over to the City Bathhouse which is located in the southwest portion of Kuttenberg and speak Meaty Marry, Katcha and Lida and they will provide you with information on what Councillor Naaz enjoys. This will provide you with three optional objectives, but you only need to complete two of them to ensure Betty’s victory.

Pour Chamomile Brew to the Councillor’s Cask of Wine¶

If you don’t already have a Chamomile Brew in your inventory then you can purchase one for a small fee from the nearby Apothecary, then head up to the second floor of the bathhouse and lockpick the door to the left of the stairs. We recommend passing the time to the evening to reduce the chance of being caught and then once you’re through enter the first room on the right and you’ll find the cask of wine in the corner that you’ll want to interact with.

Pour the Fleas into Naaz’s Laundry Chest and Basket Unobserved¶

Head to the east of the Kuttenberg Town Hall Fast Travel to find a sack that contains a Flea-ridden blanket and then sprinkle them on Naaz’s Chest and Basket which is found in the corner of the second floor. If there’s any girls or customers in this room, then you can either hide behind the canopy or wait for them to leave.

Steal the Fragrant Oil They Add to the Councillor’s Bath¶

The Fragrant Oil can be found by heading up to the third floor of the bathhouse via the door to the left of the 2F stairs. Enter the room directly ahead and then go into the room on the right to find a cabinet which you’ll need to lockpick but this is a very easy difficulty so you shouldn’t have a problem.

Gain Councillor Tuchmacher’s Support¶

Head back to the Kingfisher Bathhouse and inform Betty with what you’ve done to make Naaz’s experience unpleasant, then she’ll want you to get Councillor Tuchmacher’s vote, but this will require you to do him a favor. Purchase a Hunting Sword from the local Blacksmith if you don’t already have one and then pay Tuchmacher a visit who can be found inside the Merchant Street Tailor and choose the following dialogue choices - “There’s coin at stake”, “Have you had problems like this before”, “What are the rules of the duel?” and “I’ll wait and then we’ll go”

You’ll now need to beat Jan of Lesztin in a duel, but this time around you’ll need to only have the Hunting Sword equipment which means you’ll be very vulnerable. The easiest to beat him without taking too much damage is by playing more defensively, so let him strike you first parry and then counter. After a few hits you’ll win the battle and then speak with Councillor Tuchmacher and he’ll confirm that the Kingfisher Bathhouse has his vote.

Ill Repute Quest Rewards¶

Return to the Kingfisher Bathhouse and inform Betty with the good news, then wait 3-4 in-game days before revisiting her and the quest will come to a close and you’ll be able to use all of her facilities for free!
