Post Scriptum is a side quest that can be found within the Kuttenberg Region, and can be accessed once you’ve completed the main quest Into the Underworld. It’ll require you to write a letter and deliver a letter for the miners. Read on to find out where you need to go and what you get for completing the quest.

Starting the Post Scriptum Side Quest¶

Head over to the tavern which is located to the west of Kuttenberg to find Kvyertsolav sitting at one of the tables and then speak with him to learn that he wants you to visit a house (located to the northeast of the Kuttenberg Town Hall Fast Travel Point) and write up a letter. As soon as you enter the building immediately respond with “Justice is worth more than silver” to be let through and then you’ll begin writing.

You’ll have the option to refine the letter, write exactly what they say or make it more aggressive, but unfortunately these choices won’t affect the outcome of the quest so feel free to choose what you think is right. They will threaten to kill you once you’ve completed the letter, but if you respond with “Can’t we make some kind of deal?” then they’ll let you go.

Take the Letter to the Shaft Owner¶

Make your way over to the Cobbler Shops which are situated in the center of the city and enter the house that’s located in between and inform the bodyguard of your attention to be given temporary access. Head up the stairs and enter the room at the end of the corridor to find Markold of Louny and then you’ll have a couple of options about how to proceed.

We recommend sticking with the miners for this quest by responding with “someone gave me this letter” as this will give you the best reward at the end! Head over to Hloushetz Gate (southeast of Kolin Gate in Kuttenberg Fast Travel) and speak with the two miners that are sitting against the wall and agree to travel to their camp and then speak with Myslibor.

Defeat Markold of Louny!¶

Markold of Louny will shortly arrive and a fight will break out so you’ll want to deal with his guards to begin with as they’ll die quickly if you are fighting them alongside your fellow miners. If you find yourself one on one against Markold, then you’ll want to play more defensively by waiting for him to strike you first and then parrying and countering.

Post Scriptum Quest Rewards¶

If you’ve defeated Markold while working with the miners then the quest will come to a close and you’ll be rewarded with 150 Groschen, but if you sided with Markold then you’ll only gain 60 Groschen for your troubles.
