Striped Tonies is a side quest that can be found within the Kuttenberg Region, and can be accessed once you’ve completed the Yackers ‘n’ Fash. It’ll require you to play a prank and collect some gifts for Anton. Read on to find out where you need to go and what you get for completing the quest.

Starting the Striped Tonies Side Quest¶

Head back to the Black Horse Tavern in the evening and speak with Foreman Vlach who can be found having a drink with some friends (if you’ve already completed Yackers n Fash) to get this follow-up quest underway. Wait until morning and speak with Miner Franzi and Anton Kasper who can be found standing outside of Hoprink Church which is located on the eastern side of the city and then follow them until you reach a tavern.

Hang up the Braies¶

There is some time to kill and the miners have an idea for a little prank by hanging up a braies in the saints tavern which can be found by walking west. Head up to the second floor while crouched and go through two doors to the right and climb up the ladder in the corner then approach the window and hang up the braies on the rope to unlock the Under a Brown Flag Trophy/Achievement.

Leave the tavern and inform Franzi and Anton that the job is done and then continue to follow them to witness a fight break out. These enemies can be easily dealt with by fighting the someone that’s fighting Franzi or Anton as they’ll be distracted then when the coast is clear continue onwards to the tavern. You’re now tasked with acquiring some flowers and perfume for Anton’s Girlfriend Tess.

Pick Flowers for Tess¶

Head east of the Kuttenberg Town Hall to find a garden and you can access it via climbing over some barrels on the southern side. Make sure you’re crouching and slowly make your way over to the center of the garden while avoiding the dog and gardener and rob the Freshly Picked Bouquet then leave the area via the barrels in the southeast corner.

Get the Perfume¶

You can acquire the perfume by visiting Else in a Cobbler Store which is located in the center of the city, then choose the following dialogue options to convince her to give it you: “I’m trying to help a friend” and “He’s in love with Tess”. Return to the tavern and hand over the gifts and you’ll be rewarded with 175 Groschen then pickup Anton who can be found on the floor nearby and follow Franzi back to the church.

Striped Tonies Quest Rewards¶

Speak with Father Tobias and agree to take the oath in Anton’s place and choose the following dialogue choices within the time limit: “We swear before God, that we will open the shafts without malice and mine the vein honestly according to the law of God.”, “We vow to work hard, listen to the foreman and duly hand over the ore.” and “We swear to not mine silver on the feast day and give a few groschen to the church.”. Completing the oath successfully will bring the quest to a close and you’ll be rewarded with 175 Groschen and the Map of Kuttenberg Underground
