Whenever there is a Strength stat to consider in an RPG, there’s usually an Agility one, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is no different there. Some weapons will require you to reach a certain stat in Agility to wield them more effectively, or perhaps you want to be more agile while in stealth, all of this is governed by the Agility stat. Keep reading to learn how to level the Agility skill and which Speech perks to select in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2!

Agility Uses and Effects¶
When it comes to Agility in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you’ll find a stat that has a lot of effects in almost all areas of the game. In combat, your melee strikes will use less Stamina the higher this stat is, dodges become easier to perform, and you can even, oddly enough, use Heavy Armor more effectively, a vital component of battle, especially when outnumbered. What’s more, using ranged weapons such as a bow become far easier the higher this stat is.
Just as with Strength, there are many weapons that will have an Agility requirement on them. Should you meet this requirement, you’ll wield them more effectively, using less Stamina in the process.
Outside of battle, you’ll find that Agility will have a massive impact on how easy Stealth is to perform, almost making this a sister skill to it that will level up alongside each other. You can also get Perks so you take less fall damage or increase how much Stamina you use while dashing out of combat, the uses are endless!
Leveling Agility¶
Similar to the other main stats such as Strength and Vitality, the vast majority of your XP in Agility is going to come from using weapons that require Agility to wield them, the higher the requirement, the more XP you’re going to get. That means you’re going to need to put yourself in danger and seek out lots of battles if you want to essentially grind this stat (which isn’t necessary).
If you want to level Agility outside of combat, then you’ll want to look to engage in plenty of Stealth, as any activities involving it will increase your Agility XP at the same time, and it’s far more efficient to level two skills at once than focusing on them one at a time. Equip a set of gear that is low on Noise and Conspicuousness and go sneaking around a village at night, or find a bandit camp out in the wilds and stalk your targets, there’s never a moment where you can’t raise your Stealth.
The final method for leveling your Agility skill, like with every other skill in the game, is by making use of Skill Trainers. There’s not much to know about Skill Trainers beyond discovering their location and paying the requisite coin per rank you want to learn. You can find out how much each one costs below:
Skill Trainer Rank | Groschens |
---|---|
Basics | 100 |
Apprentice | 500 |
Journeyman | 1500 |
? | 5000 |
A lot of Skill Trainers can be found by discovering new areas, some will become a Skill Trainer after completing a quest for them. At times, these trainers may well offer opportunities to train for free if you’ve completed a quest or task for them. Additionally, be on the lookout for any Skill Books that may boost your Agility stat, these can be found across the region or purchased from Scribes, of which you’ll find one in Troskowitz and Trosky Castle.
Best Agility Perks¶
Every time your Agility skill reaches a new even level (so 6, 8, 10, etc.), you’ll get a Perk Point to spend, with each of these thresholds offering new Perks available to learn. While it is entirely possible to grab every Perk, that involves a massive amount of investment and as such, you’ll want to prioritize specific Perks. With that said, these are the Perks you should be looking to unlock as soon as possible:
Creeping Phantom¶
Even if you’re a player that prefers to speak with your weapons rather than sneaking around, there will come points in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 that you will need to use Stealth if you don’t want the odds massively against you. With the Creeping Phantom Perks, you’ll move 15% (rank 1) and 35% (rank 2) faster while you’re sneaking, this makes a massive difference in quietly getting around areas without being spotted. Additionally, you’ll also be increasing your Agility XP too, so this is even more of a no-brainer.
Nimble Stance¶
It cannot be stated enough just how useful the dodge ability is in battle, be it slipping to the side of an oncoming opponents strike or dodging backwards to get some space and wait for your Stamina to recover before resuming your assault. The Nimble Stance Perk will decrease the Stamina cost by 40%, making this a much more effective method of dealing with your enemies in combat.
Finesse and Viper¶
If you’re primary weapons in combat are sword based weapons, then these (and their higher ranks) are the Perks for you. Finesse will increase the slashing damage of all melee weapons by a total of 10% if you get both ranks, while Viper will have the same effect but on Piercing damage. These Perks are just a straight up damage increase, so getting them as they become available should be a given.
Dominant Hand¶
If you like Henry keeping to the game’s lore of using a Long Sword, than you’ll most likely be forgoing a Shield. If this is the case, Dominant Hand is an excellent Perk as it will make attacks cost 20% less Stamina, while blocks will also cost less Stamina and be come more effective. This makes using a one-handed weapon without a Shield a far more attractive proposal.
List of Agility Perks¶
The table below will list all of the Perks you can find in the Agility tree, along with what level and other requirements they may have:
Perk | Effect | Requirement |
---|---|---|
Deft Hands | The required Agility for all weapons will be 2 lower for you. In general, if you have a lower Agility than the weapon requires, you will find it more difficult to fight with. Featherweight | Fall damage is reduced by 30% | 6 |
Dominant Hand | If you use a one-handed weapon without a shield, attacks will cost 20% less stamina. Blocking will also cost less stamina and be more effective. This effect works even with a torch in your offhand. | 8 |

Deft Hands II | The required Agility for all weapons will be reduced by 5 overall. In general, if you have a lower Agility than the weapon requires, you will find it more difficult to fight with. Ranger Run | After 10 seconds of fast sprinting, you will briefly get a big bonus to stamina recovery. When you slow down afterwards, you’ll quickly regain your strength and can start running again. | 10 |
