The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

How to Activate Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower

By
Nathan Garvin

You’ll find towers scattered throughout Hyrule, and aside from being striking landmarks that can help you navigate the world (just look out for the four guide lights on the corner - you can spot them from quite a distance!), they’re also useful as fast travel locations and for arguably their primary purpose - unveiling obfuscated map regions. Enter a tower, interact with the terminal, and you’ll be propelled into the sky, from which vantage Link will survey the land around him.

The first tower you claim is a simple, story-driven affair, but later towers are often puzzles, requiring you to figure out how to get inside or where to find a nearby character capable of getting the tower functional again. Since exploring a region before dispelling the fog of war on the map makes it much easier to navigate, you’ll want to seek out towers and complete them before you start exploring a region in earnest. This page will provide a walkthrough for the Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

You can find the Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower in the East Necluda subregion.

Where to find the Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower in Tears of the Kingdom

Another tower that’s somewhat tricky to reach, especially if you’re coming from the "Central Hyrule" iconCentral Hyrule region. In this case, your best bet is to first complete the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower and/or the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower to reveal the map, get a close fast travel point and launch yourself into the sky to mark and glide towards this tower.

Gliding won’t get you all that close, however, and there are some bothersome mountains (Mount Floria and Breman Peak) in the way. If you have to stick to the ground, your best bet is to follow Squabble River southeast until it forks, at which turn south to find "Mount Floria Cave" iconMount Floria Cave, which is, for the purposes of reaching this tower, most useful for providing a ceiling you can "Ascend" iconAscend through. After you get up to these mountains you should be able to walk and glide your way down to the tower, which is located in some wetlands.

(1 of 2) If you launch from the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower you can glide over to the West Necluda Sky Archipelago,

If you launch from the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower you can glide over to the West Necluda Sky Archipelago, (left), where you’ll find a wing device with some attached fans - you can use this to fly much closer to your destination. (right)

Alternatively, you can launch off of the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower and glide east to the West Necluda Sky Archipelago, where you’ll find a sky island with a Zonai Wing device adorned with two Zonai Fans. Defeat a Soldier !Construct to keep it from shooting rockets at you, line the wind device up with a ramp to the southeast, whack the fans to get them started and let them carry you off the sky island. This wing device won’t get you to the tower - it’ll fade before that - but you can fly it awfully close to Mount Floria. Just keep going until the wing device disappears then glide the rest of the way. This is the fastest option we’ve found for reaching the Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower.

(1 of 5) When you reach the tower, you’ll find it’s surrounded by brambles.

How to Complete the Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower in Tears of the Kingdom

When you arrive at the tower, you’ll find that it’s surrounded by brambles. This wouldn’t normally be a problem - foliage burns well enough, after all - but the rain will thwart your attempts to burn away these roots. Follow the roots until you reach a shed you can Ascend through, then glide over some brambles to land near the tower.

More thorny flora blocks the door to the tower, and you’ll have to deal with this nuisance before you can get inside. Search another shelter to the east to find a note complaining about the weather and expenditures spent to keep everything dry, which mostly just clues you into the fact that dry wood does indeed burn better. Next note there are numerous foundations loaded with building supplies near the tower. Use "Ultrahand" iconUltrahand to grab the long, rectangular platforms and fuse them together to form a three-long platform. You can, with some fussing, hang this platform on the two structures flanking the tower, using your construct to cover the brambles blocking the door. Once you’ve created this shelter, light the brambles on fire by whatever means is at your disposal - we just used a fire arrow. After a few moments of burning undisturbed by the rain the brambles will crumble and you’ll be free to enter the tower, use the terminal and launch up to survey the area.
