By
Jessica Dillon

A guide on how to complete the side adventure Serenade to a Great "Fairy" iconFairy, which is a Side Adventure found at the Woodland Stable in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

This is one of 12 Lucky Clover Gazette side adventures that are found by interacting with different NPCs at various stables. Before you can access any of these stable side adventures (including this one), you’ll have to speak to "Traysi" iconTraysi at the Lucky Clover Gazette outside Rito Village in the Hebra Region.

The Great Fairy.

Where to Find The Great Fairy Fountain in Eldin

The first Great Fairy Fountain you will want to head to in Eldin, below the Goron City. You will need to complete a quest called Serenade To a Great Fairy to use the fountain. To start this quest, head to Woodland Stable found near the Pico Pond, in southern Eldin. Here you will see a musical troupe performing, speak with them to learn that the Great Fairy, "Tera" iconTera has gone into hiding. This will activate the Serenade To a Great Fairy side quest.

Speak with the Music Troupe.

How to Complete the Serenade to a Great Fairy Side Adventure

Once you have started Serenade to a Great Fairy, you will need to acquire a couple of things in the game to awaken Tera. Here is what you need to do before taking the music troupe to the Great Fairy Fountain in Eldin.

  • Get a "Horse" iconHorse
  • Get Three Pony Points
  • Redeem Pony Points at a Stable Ledge For The "Towing Harness" iconTowing Harness

Once you have met all of these requirements, speak to the stable manager to equip your horse with the towing harness. You will then want to grab two wheels from the shed near the stable and put them on the wagon to repair it. You will need to line the wheels up with the wagon axle to get it to work properly. Once your done, take the wagon off the rock, and walk your horse over. Use "Ultrahand" iconUltrahand to attach the Towing Harness to the wagon and speak with Mastro to tell the troupe to board the wagon.

You will need to hop on the back of your horse and follow the short road to the Great Fairy Fountain. Your horse will move slower during this process, and you won’t be able to dash. Make sure to stay on the road, as tipping the wagon will reset your progress. Once you reach the bridge to the Great Fairy Fountain the troupe will get out and a cutscene of Tera awakening will play. She will tell Link where he can find her three sisters and then upgrade your armor for a price. The music troupe will now move to the stables near the other Great Fairy Fountains.

(1 of 5) The wheels for the wagon can be found nearby.
