The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

How to Get the Evil Spirit Armor Set in Tears of the Kingdom

By
Jarrod Garripoli

There are many pieces of equipment to find in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Some of these pieces of armor belong to a set, with there being multiple pieces per set. One such set is the Evil Spirit set, which requires you to do three different sets of labyrinths in order to get all three pieces.

How to Complete the Lomei Labyrinths in Tears of the Kingdom

As mentioned above, all three pieces of the Evil Spirit armor set is tied to three labyrinths around the world. However, it’s not just a simple single labyrinth, though, as each one is a side quest that spans across the surface, sky and depths. To begin, you will have to find the labyrinth on the surface, as that is the beginning of each side quest. You will need to venture through the maze, where upon getting to the end, you will find a shrine, as well as a dragon ring you can interact with there. Even if you don’t complete the shrine, activating it will allow you to use it as a fast travel point.

Interacting with the ring will open up the way for you to complete the sky portion of the labyrinth. This will be located in the sky, of course, right above the surface one. The manner of getting to the labyrinths up there is a bit more convoluted, as you tend to need some good vehicles, but those are outlined on the individual labyrinth pages (will be linked below). These labyrinths in the sky have another shrine situated at their entrances, and interacting with the nearby ring will allow you to go inside the labyrinth.

While doing these, there will be constant wind pushing up from the bottom of the labyrinth, so if you have your "Paraglider" iconParaglider out, you will constantly be floating. If you need to replenish your stamina, just look for a platform in the labyrinth to land on. Just make sure you don’t dip below the bottom portion of the maze, or else you will fall to the surface. The goal in each sky labyrinth is to activate four terminals inside it, which you can see the location of by setting that particular quest as active. Do this to make a fifth one appear on the roof of the maze, where you can just ride the stronger wind to the top.

(1 of 3) You will need to find the labyrinth on the surface first

The one on the roof of the labyrinths will open the way to the depths, with the hole being found right next to the shrine in the surface ones. Drop down the hole to appear in the depths portion of the mazes, then locate the middle to find a boss waiting for you. It will always be the "Flux Construct III" iconFlux Construct III, which isn’t that difficult of a boss, once you know what to do. Upon defeating the boss, you will complete the quest and cause a treasure chest to spawn in the middle of the arena. Open up the chest you see to get one of the Evil Spirit armor pieces.

All Lomei Labyrinth Locations in Tears of the Kingdom

Now that you have a basic understanding on how the Lomei Labyrinths work, you are probably wondering where they are located. There’s only three of them and they are found in specific locations, one towards the north, one in the south, and another in the northeast. The following links will give you a breakdown of each of the labyrinths:

Evil Spirit Armor Set Proficiency and Bonus

Once you have all three pieces of the Evil Spirit armor set, you can equip them all to see an ambiguous set bonus. The in-game menu says Disguise and Bone Weapon Prof on it, but both might be a little confusing. The Disguise portion basically makes it so Stal enemies won’t attack you, while the other bonus increases your damage with bone weapons.
