There are easy shrines, hard shrines, and all out confusing shrines in Tears of the Kingdom and luckily the Yomizuk Shrine falls into the former category. However, to get to, and subsequently unlock it, you do have to do a bit of work.
With this guide, we’ll be detailing everything you need to know about the Yomiuzuk Shrine including where to find it and how to complete it, removing all possible pitfalls you may come across as you take on yet another puzzle.
Where to Find Yomizuk Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom¶
If you’re scratching your head for the Yomizuk Shrine location, you’re probably not alone here as this one isn’t exactly made obvious, especially if you’re someone who is just roaming the surface. This is because to get to this shrine, you’ll be heading into a cave in order to get it activated.
The cave in question here is the Tarm Point Cave which can be found on the very east of Hyrule, just above Wintre Island. This cave is accessed by taking a leap of faith into a hole at the top of Tarm Point so make sure you get that paraglider out as you descend to ensure no heart loss.
Once inside, you begin the path to the shrine which is tied to a Side Quest.
How to Complete Yomizuk Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom¶
So, yes, unlike most other shrines in Tears of the Kingdom, to get to and then activate the Yomizuk Shrine, you can utilize the Side Quest in order to do so.
If you’ve taken the plunge into the cave, you should be able to see a fellow traveler, Sasan. If you speak to him he will tell you that he needs to get to the other side of the body of water within the cave to catch up with his treasure-seeking friend, starting the True Treasure Side Quest.
To do this, you will be utlizing the ready-made raft in the same location, as well as the Korok Fronds that are lying on the ground. Sasan will automatically make his way onto the raft so there’s no awkwardness there and you can simply use Ultrahand to move it onto the water. Before you get onto the raft though, you’ll need to grab those Korok Fronds as previously stated. This is because you’ll be crafting a Korok-Frond Guster. You can do this by either fusing them with either a suitable weapon from your inventory, or with the Sturdy Wooden Stick that should also be able to see right next to the Fronds. We recommend making two of these just in case you use too much of one causing it to break, stranding you on the water.
Now for the fun part. With the raft on the water and Korok-Frond Guster in hand, you’ll need to utilize this make-shift fan to push your way across, changing the sail’s direction as you go. You’ll have to dodge the moving rocks in the water to do so hence why we suggested bringing two Gusters as you may end up doing a bunch of wafting.
After you make your way across, Sasan will thank you and you will not only have completed the True Treasure Side Quest, you will have made it to the Yomizuk Shrine. Simply activate the shrine as you would usually and make your way in. Thankfully, there is no additional challenge or puzzle when you do enter, and you’ll be greeted instead by a chest. Inside, you’ll receive a Diamond which is always welcomed due to its high price.
And with that, you will have completed everything associated with the Yomizuk Shrine allowing you to get on with the remaining puzzles that lie in wait!
