The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

All amiibo Drops in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom

By
Jessica Dillon

The Nintendo Switch allows you to scan in amiibo mini-figures of characters that give you free DLC in-game. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom makes use of this feature, and you can scan in all The Legend of Zelda series amiibo. The guide below goes over how to use amiibo and what rewards you will get from scanning them in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom

You can get Epona from scanning the Twilight Princess Link amiibo.

How do amiibos work in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom

To scan an amiibo, open up your ability wheel, and choose amiibo. You will need to select a spot on the ground for the items to drop and then tap the amiibo to your Joy-Cons or Pro Controller. There are several different rewards that you can get from each amiibo, some which are rare spawns. You can scan every amiibo on the list below once per day to get the drops. If you are looking for a specific item, we recommend you save before scanning so that you can reroll.

(1 of 3) Scan amiibo using the ability wheel.
