This page details how to complete Yamiyo Shrine, which can be found in the Central Hyrule region in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK).

Where to Find Yamiyo Shrine¶

This shrine can be found near the cross roads just north of Romani Plains, in the east region of Central Hyrule. This is a combat training shrine and will teach you how to throw objects as an offensive tactic!

Yamiyo Shrine: How to Throw Fire Fruit¶

As you head into this shrine, you’ll see that a Construct enemy appears atop an elevated platform. To the left and right, you’ll also find rows of Fire Fruit plants. Make sure to pick as many fruit as you’d like, as the combat training requires you use them to defeat the Construct enemy.

How to throw materials.

A tutorial will pop up on your screen, telling you to first hold and then hold . When you do this you’ll need to scroll through your items and select the fire fruit you just picked up. Aim and release the fire fruit to deal damage to the Construct! Since this is a training shrine, you cannot damage the Construct enemy any other way other than with the fire fruit explosions.

You’ll need to hit the construct with two fire fruit to defeat it entirely. You can loot it after its been defeated by climbing up the ladder that’s found on the other side of the platform.

Once you’re all done, pass through to the end room to claim your reward in the chest and receive your Light of Blessing. The chest contains x3 bomb flowers which you can now throw in combat!
