Similar to that of Breath of the Wild, the shrines in Tears of the Kingdom can sometimes be tucked away, making it pretty difficult to find them. The Kurakat Shrine is one of these, leaving many an adventurer puzzled as to its location within Hyrule.
With this guide, we’ll be debunking everything you need to know about the Kurakat Shrine, detailing where to find it, so you can be on your way to that all important 100% shrine completion.
Kurakat Shrine Location in TotK¶
So, if you’ve been running around, slowly reaching your wits end looking for the Kurakat Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom, you’re probably not alone. This is because you can’t actually stumble across it by simply wandering as you’ll need to complete a specific Shrine Quest in order for it to make an appearance.
The Shrine Quest in question here is Dyeing to Find It, and you’ll need to head east of Lanayru Wetlands to start this. Specifically, it is located right in between Quattra’s Shelf and Rabia Plain and here’s a map marker on our interactive map if you’re having issues.
While not exactly a long Shrine Quest, !Dyeing to Find It is still an awkward one with a very limited hint as to how to complete it. Luckily for you, we’ve done a full run through on this and written up a guide on how to get it wrapped up nice and fast, allowing you to move onto the next challenge.
For your reward for unlocking and thus entering the shrine, you’ll get a Magic Scepter which can be combined with gems to make a pretty useful weapon.
There is no additional challenge in the shrine itself so you can simply pick up this reward from the chest and make your way out, securing another Light of Blessing along the way.
