The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Horse-Drawn Dreams Walkthrough - Zelda Tears of The Kingdom

By
Jessica Dillon

There are a ton of quests that you can pick up at the start of Tears of The Kingdom, especially if you’re looking for some extra Rupees. One such quest is "Horse-Drawn Dreams" iconHorse-Drawn Dreams which gives you information on how to use your first horse and tells you about the "Towing Harness" iconTowing Harness. The guide below goes over how to repair "Zumi" iconZumi’s wagon and catch a wild horse for her near New Serenne Stable.

Speak with Zumi at New Serenne Stable to start Horse-Drawn Dreams.

How to Fix Zumi’s Wagon

To start the Horse-Drawn Dreams quest you will need to head west of "Lookout Landing" iconLookout Landing. You will find Zumi at the New Serenne Stable in Hyrule Ridge. She is standing outside the stable next to a broken-down wagon. When you speak with her she will tell you that she wants a horse-drawn wagon, but the problem is that the wagon is missing two wheels and that she has no horse to pull the wagon along once it’s repaired. She tasks Link with helping her to get things moving.

If you look to your right, you will see two wheels sitting against the outside of the stable. Use "Ultrahand" iconUltrahand to pick them both up and attach them to the wagon. Once this is done, Zumi will comment on the wagon’s repairs but still states that she needs a horse. If you look into the field north of the stable, you will likely see several horses as they spawn regularly in the area. To catch a horse, crouch by pressing in the left stickJoy-Con-LS on your Joy-Con. Sneak behind the horse and press A Joy-Con-ButtonA to get on its back. From here you will need to soothe the horse until it calms down. If the horse has a lot of stamina and you don’t though, then the attempt will fail and you should try another horse.

(1 of 3) You can find the wagon wheels right beside the stable.

Once you have successfully tamed a horse, bring it back to Zumi at the stable. Make sure not to register it or try to use a horse you have already registered, or she won’t accept the horse. You will need to speak with her and confirm that you are gifting her the horse. Afterward, the quest will wrap up and you will be given a "Silver Rupee" iconSilver Rupee for your efforts. If you don’t already have a horse of your own, now is a great time to catch one to use on the rest of your journey.
