The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Home on Arrange

By
Jessica Dillon

One of the most surprising features in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild was that you could build Link a house. This can once again be done in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom, but this time Link is more hands-on when building his home. If you don’t know where to look, though, building a house for Link can be a confusing task. The guide below shows you how to get your very own home in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom.

Speak with Rhondson to start Home on Arrange.

How to Get a House in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom

To get a house in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom, you will need to visit Tarry Town and complete Mattison’s Independence . This is a longer side adventure, but it should only take an hour or two to complete once you start. Once you are done with the quest, return to the construction shop and speak with Rhondson, This will start Home on Arrange. She will offer you land and a home for 1,500 Rupees. Pay her, and she will send you to Link’s new land to get started

How to Make Link’s House in Tears of The Kingdom

Go to the site above Tarry Town. There is a Shrine right next to it that you can activate for a quick teleport. You will want to speak with Grantéson at the nearby counter to start building your house. You get two rooms to start with, an entryway and a bedroom where Link can sleep. Move them with "Ultrahand" iconUltrahand. You will need to fuse together both rooms at the fencing and then speak with Grantéson again to tell him you’re done. Make sure you don’t have any part of the rooms sticking outside the ropes, or he won’t approve your design.

(1 of 4) Grantéson will always be available at a counter near your home.

You will now be able to explore your new home, and the quest will conclude with Rhondson coming by to give you the Construction Fabric, which can be used to decorate your glider in Hateno Village. The quest will conclude, but you will be able to buy additional rooms and change the placement of Link’s home around at any time.
