The area around !Death Mountain might have cooled off some in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom, but caves still remain sweltering. Buying the Flamebreaker Armor in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom.

Where to Buy The Flamebreaker Armor Set

If you are ready to take on the "Fire Temple" iconFire Temple and save Goron City, then you will need to do something about the heat. While Link can safely walk around !Goron City, the caves around !Death Mountain and the Fire Temple itself are hot, making the Flamebreaker Armor a must. It has the Flame Guard ability, which keeps Link from overheating and taking damage. You don’t need to buy the whole set to resist the heat. One piece will do. The! Flamebreaker Tunic can be picked up from the Armor Shop in !Goron City for 700 Rupees. This is similar to getting the Snowquill Armor in Rito. Here’s the pricing for the entire set of Flamebreaker Armor

Flamebreaker Armor Piece Cost
"Flamebreaker Helm" iconFlamebreaker Helm 1,400 Rupees
"Flamebreaker Armor" iconFlamebreaker Armor 700 Rupees
"Flamebreaker Boots" iconFlamebreaker Boots 1,200 Rupees

If you miss the tunic in the shop, then you can grab it before confronting Yunobo at YunoboCo HQ. It can be found in the worker’s store across from the cave where he’s residing. The armor is the same price here. On top of the Flamebreaker Armor, you should also stock up on shields and weapons that aren’t made of wood. The extreme heat will cause these items to set on fire. In addition, if you don’t equip an arrow with an item when exploring hot areas, all arrows will become flame arrows as they will be set on fire by the extreme heat.
