The very first side quest you will find in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom comes extremely early on. After you complete the game’s tutorial and land in Hyrule, all you need to do is find the story quests to find an NPC named Addison and start a quest line. The guide below goes over where to find Addison and how to hold up President Hudson’s sign at the Castle Town Ruins in Tears of a Kingdom.

Where to Find President Hudson’s First Sign¶
Once you have landed in Hyrule, you will be sent to Hyrule Castle. Along the way in the ruins of Castle Town, you will see an NPC holding onto a sign. This is Addison, and he’s a diehard fan of his construction company’s president, and he’s been tasked with placing signs around Hyrule. You can get some great rewards from him by finding a way to support the sign. To do this, use Ultrahand to grab the nearby linked boards. These are placed with the construction supplies directly in front of Addison.

Once the long end of the board is leaned up against the sign, speak with Addison again. This time you simply need to select the “Let Go” option. If you have placed the board correctly, the sign will stand up, and Addison will award you with the following items.
- A Red Rupee
- Veggie Rice Balls
- Sleepover Coupon
Addison will be available at several other locations, find him, and do the same with the next sign for more rewards.
