However, a lot of these skills won’t become useful until you start increasing their level and to do that you’ll need to complete certain challenges. This page will provide you with the necessary tips to level up your "Weight Lifting" iconWeight Lifting Skill.

You can increase your carrying capacity by 100kg if you fully rank up the Weight Lifting Skill.

What Does The Weight Lifting Skill Do in Starfield?

Additionally, once you’ve leveled up the Weight Lifting Skill you’ll have a much larger carrying capacity, so you’ll be able to pick up and store a lot more items in your inventory.

This has multiple advantages such as being able to hold on to more valuable items until you reach a shop, then you’ll be able sell them for a nice profit and build up your funds quickly, and purchase better equipment and weapons. You’ll also be able to store more med-kits which means you won’t have to worry about your health being low during firefights. Below, you’ll find out what each tier of this skill offers you:

Before you can start leveling up the Weight Lifting Skill you’ll need to unlock it and that can be done by heading on over to the Physical Tab and using up one of your skill points. Alternatively, you can choose a background at the start of the game that comes with it already unlocked, such as Homesteader or Long Hauler. Starfield is an action role-playing game from Bethesda Game Studios set in a futuristic interpretation of space exploration and colonization. Earth has long been abandoned, but there are plenty of other planets in different star systems where humans have ventured and settled. You have the freedom to create your own character with a unique background, but the main story will take you through a series of adventures as you uncover more information about mysterious artifacts which create gravitational anomalies. Along the way, you can build and customize your own space ship, establish your own outpost, befriend and romance new companions, and more. As a Bethesda game, you can also expect to see a lot of creative mods which have the potential to change your experience of the base game, or take it in an entirely new direction.
