Once you start The Devils You Know, you will be about halfway through the Vanguard faction storyline. This is a shorter quest that won’t take up a ton of your time as it gives you more information about the faction’s secrets. The main focus of the mission is finding a man by the name of Reginald Orlasse. The guide below goes over how to start The Devils You Know and how to find and deal with Reginald Orlasse.

How to Complete The Devils You Know in Cyberpunk¶

To start The Devils You Know, you must be part of the Vanguard faction and first complete Eyewitness. After that, you will be able to start the quest - a shorter mission that focuses on giving you a little more lore. When you’re ready to start it, head to the MAST headquarters in New Atlantis.

How to Track Down and Capture Reginald Orlasse¶

Once you are at MAST take the elevator down to Subsection Seven. Here you will find a cell and an intercom. Interact with it to speak with Vae Victis. He will reveal that he’s still alive and can help you with the Terrormorph problem. In exchange though, he wants you to find and kill Reginald Orlasse who he has finally managed to help track down. You have the option to speak with Deputy Macintyre about the mission and bringing Orlasse back alive.

Once you are ready to leave, head to the Wolf Star and stop by the Den Space Station. You will want to speak with Captain Martinez inside about Orlasse. He will tell you that he doesn’t know anything about him, but that there is a strange ship named the Warlock hanging around in a nearby asteroid field. Head to the location, and move through the asteroids after about a few seconds the Warlord will engage you.

This ship does have stronger weapons, so make sure to watch the health of your own ship during this fight. You can either disable the ship and climb aboard or go ahead and shoot it down. No matter what you choose, Orlasse won’t come back with you. Once you have defeated him, make sure to loot his body or the wreckage of the ship to get the proof you need for Vae Victis. Head back to MAST at New Atlantis and speak with Vae Victis, you will need to send over the proof to him that Orlasse has been dealt with. After speaking with him a bit more, the next Vanguard mission, War Relics will start.
