This is a guide for Chapter 6 of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, exploring Captocorn Peak in the Aetia Region, Upper.
Where to go after Colony Omega¶

Having completed Mio’s Side Story and liberated Colony Omega, the journey to the Cloudkeep properly begins. You’ll regain control a short distance west from the Colony Omega Ferronis. If you want, you can return to Colony Omega to begin Cammuravi’s Hero Quest, A Twist of Fate.
Otherwise continue west, then a little north to reach Gava Junction. From here, there are two paths you can follow. Heading west/north-west will take you to Ladras Way, which leads to the Cloudkeep. Meanwhile, heading south-west, then south will return you to the lower portion of the Aetia Region, where Colony 9 and Gamma are.

There’s no rush, so follow whichever route(s) you want.
To advance the story, you should to head to the Altar of Reception, towards the far west, accessible via Ladras Way. When you’re halfway there, you’ll trigger a cutscene. Finally, when you arrive at the altar, there will be another cutscene, where a bridge to the Cloudkeep magically appears.
Once you’re at the Cloudkeep, follow the stairs up and around, until you reach a big door at the highest level. When you approach this door, be prepared for some more tough boss fights!
