Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Serene Melody

By
Shane Williams

This is a guide for the “Serene Melody” standard quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. It’ll navigate you through the necessary steps to helping See-Mee-Mee become an Off-Seer.

See-Mee-Mee is happy to know her friend has been properly seen off.

Stories arise of a Colony 30 Nopon aspiring to become an off-seer. Go meet him and find out his motivation.

How to Start the Serene Melody Standard Quest

To begin this quest, progress through the game until Chapter 3, then you’ll have to liberate Colony 30. From here, continue playing through the main story and regularly check back until you find some residents talking on the Maintenance Bay. Listen in by pressing Joy-Con-ZR to acquire the Colony 30’s Off-Seer Info Fragment, then discuss it at the canteen to begin the quest.

Find Out Why See-Mee-Mee Wants To Be An Off-Seer

After you’ve unlocked the quest, make your way over to the barracks on the second floor and speak with See-Mee-Mee to see why he wants to do off-seering. Unfortunately, he decides to run, so Noah and the team decide to speak with residents of Colony 30 to see what they think of the situation. From here, head over to the left side of the area and speak with Zooza.

Here you’ll find out that See-Mee-Mee may want to do Off-Seering as his close friend died in battle, so he wants Colony 30 to still have an Off-Seer. Next up, make your way back down to the Maintenance Bay and speak with Ven to see if they have any more information. Ven seems to be busy currently, but he mentions that he took a Nopon to the First Aid Station.

(1 of 2) Speak with Ven

Speak with Ven (left), and Zooza around Colony 30 to find out more about See-Mee-Mee. (right)

Leave Ven to his business and take the stairs to the right to find See-Mee-Mee again. Try speaking with him again and Noah and Mio will teach him to play the flute. Fast travel to the Old Kana Battlefield Landmark and follow the path along to the northwest to reach Rutez Barr, then head up the hill to find Radek’s Dog Tags. Sadly Noah has already seen him off, but See-Mee-Mee is glad and the quest comes to a close.
