Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Going Home

By
Jarrod Garripoli

This is a guide for the Going Home Standard Quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

How to Start the Going Home Standard Quest

Speak to Seeker to start this quest

You won’t be able to get this quest until Chapter 6, after the events that allow you to explore Agnus Castle. Make sure that you’ve been told to advance to Captocorn Peak, in case you don’t see this quest. Once that happens, go to the Ascension Grounds area and locate the NPC named Seeker. He will be marked with a ? mark on the western side of the Ascension Grounds, so speak to him to begin the quest.

How to Complete the Going Home Standard Quest

The people from the prison camp are getting ready to head back to the City now, but there’s a lot of people to be using Levnis, meaning a boat is needed to get things in order. Seeker asks you to speak with Darnie at the docks to get the wheels moving.

How to Find the Docks

To get out of the Ascension Grounds, find the Agnus Soldier in the northwest portion and speak to them. They will take you to the Mulus Depot in the Cadensia Region, which is where you need to go. This will be at a three-way intersection, with the west taking you near the prison, the east to an area with some high level enemies, and the south to an elevator. Go south and use the elevator, which will take you to the docks. Darnie will be found on a small bridge on the western side of the docks.

This Agnus Soldier will allow you to get to the area with the docks

The team has their hands full getting ready for launch, so she asks you to open the floodgate for them. Head on over to the other side of the docks and press the switch in the small room there to open the floodgate, then return to Darnie to see there is one more task to do. You will be asked to clear Farview Cape of monsters, so the Lost Numbers can return to the City safely.

How to Defeat the Enemies at Farview Cape

Farview Cape is a small island that is found on the western edge of the Cadensia Region, and is just southwest of Corne Island. Upon making landfall, and being mindful of the level 55 or so enemies on the beach (the Fliers won’t bother you at all, unless you do so first), head to the main part of the island to find some level 50 enemies. There are two kinds here, the Medooz and the Blants. There’s a total of 11 enemies to defeat, with there only being two Blants and the rest belong to the other kind mentioned.

(1 of 2) None of the enemies should really give you much trouble

None of the enemies should really give you much trouble (left), There are three enemies kind of hiding behind the ship (right)

They shouldn’t really give you much trouble at all, as long as you are careful about luring them away from the others. It might look like there’s only eight monsters here, but there are more behind the ship that’s parked there. After defeating all of the monsters, speak with the Armory Pilot to head to the City and finish the quest.
