Missing Luggage

This is a guide for the Missing Luggage Standard Quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

How to Start the Missing Luggage Standard Quest

Just approach this rest spot to get the cutscene that starts the quest

You will be unable to reach this quest until you have procured the boat and can explore Erythia Sea, which happens in Chapter 5, after some events in the City. Also, this is the fourth quest in the Dorin and Bambam line of quests, so you will need to have completed their prior ones, which are as follows:

Once you have done that, drive your boat over to the Anu Shoals Camp rest spot and you should see a ? there. If it’s not there, then you haven’t done the quests listed above, so make sure you complete them prior to venturing out here (grab the rest spot, though, to make for easier fast travel).

How to Complete the Missing Luggage Standard Quest

Dorin and Bambam’s adventures continue, but it appears they have lost all of their luggage. After regaining control, check the tracks right next to the campfire to begin the quest, with a choice popping up of you guessing the source of the footprints. The correct answer is Merignas and the quest won’t continue until you pick that option. You will need to follow the footprints now, through the waters (there will be a cloud on the water to continue the trail), and to the Sea Lizards’ Tide Pool. You just need to be mindful of any roaming high level monsters, like the Ugend Ravoon, since you don’t want to become food for them.

(1 of 4) The tracks are from Merignas

Once you arrive at the Sea Lizards’ Tide Pool, you will see their supplies on the other side of the area. The goal here will be to defeat all of the Merignas in the area, of which there are 11 of them. Since they have herd mentality, you will be facing a few battles that will have multiple enemies in them, so make sure you set the Tactics to focus on a single enemy at a time to thin the numbers. Overall, though, all of the enemies are around level 45 and there won’t be any Elites or Uniques in there, so they shouldn’t give you any trouble. When you have defeated all of the enemies, you will view a scene that brings you to the end of the quest.
