Shillshill

By

Locations of the items needed for the Collectopaedia Card for Shillshill.

The Collectopaedia Card for Shillshill will require a lot of items

When does the Collectopaedia Card Unlock for Shillshill

Once you reach the Millick Meadows area of the Aetia Region, you will be forced to inspect the Hillside Ferronis Hulk during the main story. After fixing it up, you will need to use the Fabricator there and meet up with a travelling Nopon merchant, by the name of Shillshill. Whenever the introductions are over and you are able to go about your merry way, the Collectopaedia Card for her will be added to your quest log.

Shillshill’s Collectopaedia Card will have a lot of items required to complete it. Most of the items are likely ones you’ve already found while exploring the game’s world. However, there are four items that you might not have found, one of which you likely wouldn’t come upon until you progress farther into the main story. There is an alternative in obtaining said item, although it’s a bit random on when you actually get it. The following table will list the locations for the common items:

Collectable Location
Plate Pothos Yzana Plains (South of Colony 9) and Alfeto Valley (both in/near water)
Splendorshell Everblight Plain and Yzana Plains (in water)
Purple-Ring Pine Yzana Plains (South of Colony 9)
Wraithwood Everblight Plain
Pillowshroom Alfeto Valley
Bloody Doomcap Everblight Plain

Where to Find Beaknib Quill

(1 of 2) This Container will have a Landom Ropl guarding it

This Container will have a Landom Ropl guarding it (left), Defeat it to get to the Container with the Beaknib Quill (right)

The Beaknib Quill is one of the four items that doesn’t seem to be a normal Collectable. Thankfully, if you’ve been thoroughly exploring the various areas of the Aetia Region, then you may have found this item. You won’t be able to get to the Container that has this item until you progress into the story enough to have your full party. Once you do, you will have to venture south, through a small cave known as Hermit’s Alleyway. There will be a Container in here that is guarded by a Landon Ropl enemy that springs out of the ground. Defeat it, then open the Container for the Beaknib Quill.

Where to Find Tirkin Notebook

(1 of 2) Go inside the Ferronis at Colony 9 and to this balcony

Go inside the Ferronis at Colony 9 and to this balcony (left), Jump down to his building to reach the Container with the Tirkin Notebook (right)

The Tirkin Notebook is one of the four items that doesn’t seem to be a normal Collectable. Thankfully, if you’ve been thoroughly exploring the various areas of the Aetia Region, then you may have found this item. You will be able to find this item in a Container. Specifically, the Container holding a Tirkin Notebook will be found in Colony 9. After the way on to the top deck is open, find the railing here and jump over to reach the Container, which will be on top of one of the structures below you.

Where to Find Seafoam Soap

(1 of 2) You’ll need to jump down to here from the eastern hill

You’ll need to jump down to here from the eastern hill (left), where you’ll find the Container with the Seafoam Soap (right)

The Seafoam Soap is one of the four items that doesn’t seem to be a normal Collectable. Thankfully, if you’ve been thoroughly exploring the various areas of the Aetia Region, then you may have found this item. Once you have access to the area south of Colony 9, in the Yzana Plains, you will be able to find the Container with this item in it. There will be a large hill just east of the Flamii Watering Hole, which leads to the Shark’s Jaw Cape Landmark. While up there, look for the one cliff that allows you to jump over to an elevated platform with the Container that has this.

Where to Find Fire-Fighting Hydrojet

The Fire-Fighting Hydrojet is one of the four items that doesn’t seem to be a normal Collectable. This item is located in a Container, but it’s in an area that’s behind some level 20 or so enemies, including an Elite. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a way to sneak past the enemies without them noticing, plus you won’t be able to come back to this area until much later. However, there is a way to get a Fire-Fighting Hydrojet without having to wait. That comes in the form of the Fabricator, which you gain access to in Chapter 2, at the Hillside Ferronis Hulk.

Using this will cost 300 G each time you use it, causing it to spit out a bunch of items. One of the items it can spit out is the Hydrojet, which seems to be not all too common, but common enough to not cost you a lot of money. Whenever you see a machine-like object coming out of the Fabricator is when you will know you’ve gotten the Hydrojet. Note that the Fabricator also seems able to produce at least the Seafoam Soap. It’s unclear if it can spit out the other two items, too.

You can use the Fabricator to get the Fire-Fighting Hydrojet
