It always seemed like this would be the inevitable conclusion to this relationship, and its now time to get down to business. Moebius S is one of the tougher Moebius battles, she has deadly Arts and her auto-attacks are quick. Add on top of that the ability to use some nasty debuffs and you’ll need to be in top shape to take down the latest Moebius offering.

Moebius S has a nice mix of Arts that deal heavy damage along with some deadly debuffs and you can learn more about them below:

  • Stasis Command: Moebius S releases a wave of energy that has a chance to inflict Moebius Shackles on all targets. This will freeze the target in place and prevent any actions until it’s removed or wears off. This will hit more targets when she’s Enraged.
  • Mad Shot: Moebius S will rise high in the air and unleash three blasts, each dealing moderate damage to a single target.
  • Nexus Slice: Moebius S spins around multiple times, dealing moderate-major damage depending on connecting hit to all targets in a large AoE around her.
  • Pain Wedge: Moebius S will leap back while shooting a large blast in a line AoE in front of her, dealing moderate damage and inflicting Knockback and the Bleed debuff.
  • Piercing Hatred: Moebius S will swipe up from below, dealing moderate damage and inflicting Launch.
  • Animus Shout: Moebius S lets out a piercing scream that grants her the Power Charge buff, increasing the damage of her next Art.

Moebius S has plenty of deadly Arts, and once she starts chaining them together in the later stages of the battle, it’s easy to find lots of your party hitting the floor.

She’ll usually open the battle with Stasis Command, this is a new debuff you’ve yet to see which will inflict Moebius Shackles on random characters. If you’re hit by this, there’s nothing you can do but wait it out unless you have a Cure Bullet ready. There is a long wind-up to this Art though, so look to try and use Break or another like-minded Art to knock her out of getting the Art off.

Pain Wedge is her other Art that deals a debuff, Bleed, and this one will hit any of your party that is standing in a line in front of her. This can be deadly if you’re still hurting from some of her other, more damaging Arts. Mad Shot appears to be the most common Art she will use in the first half of this battle, and while it can be damaging if you take all three hits, you do have the chance to knock her out of the air while she begins performing it.

By far the most concerning Art is Nexus Slice, this will hit a huge AoE around her and deal continuous damage. If you suffer every hit, it can deal major damage. To make matters worse, Animus Shout can give her Power Charge and if she uses Nexus Slice following it, it can be very deadly.

The difficulty ramps up massively once you Enrage her, she’ll begin chaining Arts together and along with the usual Attack and Speed increase Enrages give to bosses, this becomes tough. Should she use Animus Shout followed by Nexus Slice when Enraged, it can often be fatal if you’re caught with it. Even if you don’t suffer every hit, she’ll often follow-up with Mad Shot or Pain Wedge.

Stasis Command becomes more dangerous at this point of the battle too. She’ll have to charge the Art now, and this can take a while, but once she uses it, it will likely hit the majority of your party, putting them all out of action save for maybe one or two characters. She’ll usually use Nexus Slice while your party is frozen in place too.

If you’ve not been making much use of Burst Combos to force bosses out of the Enrage status up to this point, now is the time as it can make life much easier. As always, Chain Attacks are your friend when it comes to Moebius S in her Enrage.
