This page details how to reboot the Cascade Ferronis Hulk and complete The Cascade Hulk standard quest in the Pentelas Region in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
How to Start The Desert Hulk Standard Quest¶
The Cascade Hulk can be found on a small islet in Great Cotte Falls. You’ll need to swim across the waters in the northeast area of the Great Cotte Falls region to reach it.

How to Complete The Cascade Hulk Standard Quest¶
Once you’ve approached the Cascade Ferronis Hulk, you’ll be tasked with clearing out 14 monsters in the area surrounding Cascade Hulk. The monsters in question are Level 30 Piranhax lurking in the water. Luckily, you won’t have to fight all 14 at once! Instead, you’ll find a cluster of 7 to the south and a cluster of 4 and 3 behind the Ferronis Hulk.
They may be clumped together, but you could still lure individual Piranhax to avoid fighting too many at once!
They’re relatively easy to deal with, but if you’re concerned about being overwhelmed, consider returning to this area when you’re at an equal or higher level to them. And, you can also try to lure individual Piranhax using the whistling gesture prior to engaging in a fight. There are two elite Piranhax, and you may want to ensure you deal with those separately to keep the combat manageable.
Fight the Piranhax so you can reboot the Hulk!
Once the enemies are defeated, head up to the top of the Ferronis Hulk to reboot it. For this Hulk, you’re going to need 15 Ether. If you’ve not got the right amount, there are a few ether channels in the surrounding Great Cotte Falls area. Look for the 
After rebooting the Ferronis, you’ll be able to loot the two containers below and also use the Fabricator for 900G. This fabricator will be particularly useful for the standard quest, Tau-Turkin Alliance!
