How to Start the Dorrick is Online! Standard Quest¶
It’s finally time to see Dorrick in action!
In order to begin this quest, there are two things that need to be done. The first is completing Phase 8 of Rebuilding Dorrick, which should be pretty obvious. The other thing is that you need to have finished Alexandria’s Ascension Quest, called Inescapable Past. Once both things are done, head to Colony 30 and speak to Repapa to begin the quest. Note that Valdi needs to be in your active party for this quest.
How to Complete the Dorrick is Online! Standard Quest¶
Phase nine of rebuilding Dorrick involves a live combat test. The test will be done at Terra Wastelands, outside of Colony 30. It seems easiest to just go from Colony 30, as other landmarks involve dropping off cliffs to your death. Once you meet up with Repapa, you will witness a live test of Dorrick, only something isn’t working properly. This will net you the Buddy Blaster Blunder Info, so head to a rest spot to discuss it. You will offer suggestions on who to ask for any solutions to the matter, with there being three different NPCs.

Salazar is in Colony Iota, by the northern gate, while Varen will be by the maintenance area in Colony Lambda. Samon will be in the main part of the City and is who you will need to talk to in order to progress the quest. He will direct you to Shinoh, who will accompany you to Dorrick. She is at Astelle Harbor, so speak to her and she will meet you there. Upon doing that, you will have to gather some more items to give to her, which she will use to fix Dorrick’s weapon. Note that you will need to do this twice, with there being two different sets of items, so it might be a good idea to gather up both sets to simply save time on having to trek back to Shinoh again.
