How to Start the A Lesson in Off-Seeing Standard Quest¶
To begin this quest, progress through the game until you reach Chapter 4, then you’ll need to return to Colony Gamma in the Aetia Region. Interact with the Colony Gamma Noticeboard and select the “A Lesson in Off-Seering’’ option. Sit down at the canteen and discuss it to begin this quest!
How To Teach Schoon to Off-Seer in Xenoblade Chronicles 3¶
Once you’ve accepted the quest, head over to the Gamma, Assembly Yard and speak with Schoon, then she’ll explain that she plays the flute but feels like something isn’t right. Thankfully, Noah who has been an off-seer for a long time has come to help teach her. To begin, open up the map and fast travel over to the Watchpoint Bridge, then follow the path along to the east until you reach the Colley Pool.

Here you’ll see three markers scattered around the pool, so head over to them and press 
Head over to the final husks, but before you can proceed to send them off you’ll need to defeat several Merrosh Rhoguls which surround it. You should be able to defeat pretty quickly as long as you’re around their level, but just make sure to use buffs and correct positionals to deal more damage. Finally, send off the last husk and the quest will come to a close.
