How to Unlock the Post-Game Hero Classes

By
Ben Chard

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 which was released on July 29th 2022 features 6 main characters that fight by your side, but you can also recruit other Heroes and add one into your team. This page will take you through everything you need to know about the two post-game Heroes and how to unlock them.

Two new Heroes become available during the post-game of Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

How to Reach Post-Game in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

This is a simple one, to reach this particular content, you’ll have needed to finish the main game’s story by diving into Origin and defeating the main villain awaiting you at the depths. Once the credits have finished rolling, you’ll be given the option to save your game and then you’ll be taken back to the title screen. Reload this save file and you’ll find yourself outside the door to the final boss. At this point, you can travel around the world again to access the various post-game content that is now available.

How to Unlock the Lifesage Class

You can unlock both of these Heroes in any order, and there’s not too much that you have to do in order to get them, think of this more as a reward for beating the game.

To begin with, head to the Hall of the Serene in the Upper Aetia region and head towards Nia to trigger a scene. This will unlock Nia as a Hero and the Lifesage Class. This is an exceptionally powerful Healer Class that not only has plenty of great buffs but offers almost constant healing too, an essential for when taking on those superbosses.

How to Unlock the Royal Summoner Class

Likewise, unlocking this Class is almost a simple as unlocking Lifesage. Make your way back to the Main Castle Gate Landmark in the Keves Castle region and you’ll trigger another scene, this time with Melia, the Queen of Keves. Following the scene, this will unlock Melia as a Hero and the Royal Summoner Class. This is a potent Attacker Class that makes use of Melia’s elemental summons to enhance her Talent Art.

Both of these Classes will be locked to Rank 10 initially, but once you raise Mio (Lifesage) and Noah (Royal Summoner) to Rank 10 in their Classes, you’ll be able to undertake their Ascension Quests to raise the cap on these powerful Classes.
