This is a guide for the “Theoretical Knowledge” standard quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. It’ll navigate you through the necessary steps to answering the questions correctly.

Accept the Theoretical Knowledge from the Colony Gamma Noticeboard to begin this quest.

Taion enlists Noah as an assistant for the lecture he’s delivering to Zakir’s squad. Don’t let the newbies show you up, and show them they can trust you.

How to Start the Theoretical Knowledge Standard Quest

Progress through the game until you reach Chapter 3, then you’ll need to find and complete the optional Hero Quest Going Beyond Power. You can find it by returning to the Gura Flava Camp in the Aetia region and making your way north to the Quest_Related_Event__2_.png icon on the map to trigger a scene and begin this Hero Quest.

Upon completion you’ll automatically receive the info fragment “Request From Teach” which you’ll need to discuss at the canteen, then take a look at the nearby Colony Gamma Noticeboard to find two requests you can pick up. For this quest, choose the Theoretical Knowledge Option, then head back to the canteen and discuss it to get started.

What are the Correct Theoretical Knowledge Answers

Once you’ve accepted the quest, head over to Gamma, Assembly Yard and speak with any of the following: Zakir, Mina and Schoon. Here Taion will give the students several questions to test their knowledge. However, they have a problem with Noah teaching so you have to answer Taion’s question as well to make the others feel more comfortable. After the scene has come to a close, speak with the students again to begin the lesson.
