Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Collapsed Traderpon

By
Shane Williams

This is a guide for the “Collapsed Traderpon” standard quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. It’ll navigate you through the necessary steps to finding the fruits needed to hydrate Panepane.

This Nopon looks thirsty.

The party finds a collapsed Nopon Merchant in the Eagus Wilderness. Help rehydrate the poor thing.

How to Start the Collapsed Traderpon Standard Quest

Progress through the game until you reach Chapter 2, then continue onwards until you reach the Eagnus Wilderness. Follow the path the team agreed upon until you stumble across Panepane who’s a Nopon that has collapsed due to dehydration. Upon speaking with Panepane you’ll find out that he’s quite thirsty and has given you a list of fruits which he can use to rehydrate and so this Standard Quest begins!

How to Rehydrate Panepane in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

After the quest has begun, interact with Panepane and you’ll be given a menu where you can use the listed ingredients to rehydrate him and they are the following: "Armored Chestnut" iconArmored Chestnut, "Dance Apple" iconDance Apple, "Elegant Pummelo" iconElegant Pummelo, "Black Kiwi" iconBlack Kiwi, Scarlet Lychee, Ruby Pineapple, and "Dark Grape" iconDark Grapes. You’ll need to give him enough fruits to fill up the progress bar at the top of the screen.

(1 of 2) Run around the nearby area to pick up fruits

Run around the nearby area to pick up fruits (left), and give them to Panepane to rehydrate him. (right)

The quickest way to do this is to look for Dark Grapes, as each one fills up the progress by 15%, but if you don’t have enough then you can also purchase some at Colony 9 Commissary Vendor. If you don’t have enough gold to purchase Dark Grapes, then run around the nearby area to find some Scarlet Lychees or Elegant Pummelo which add 10% to the bar. A Lot of these items including Armored Chestnut can be found in the nearby area, so just sprint around collecting shinies and eventually you should have to fill up Panepane’s Bar and complete the quest!
