How to Start the New Developments Standard Quest¶

During Chapter 6, head to the Colony Lambda and you should be able to get some Info in the middle of the colony, called Colony Lambda Defenses. If it’s not appearing, then try doing some of the other quests from Colony Lambda until it does. Once you have the Info, go to a rest spot/canteen to discuss it and begin the quest.

How to Complete the New Developments Standard Quest¶

It appears this Varen is creating some type of new prototype that might help bolster Lambda’s defenses, so the party decides to go check it out. You will find Varen at the front portion of the colony, right before stepping outside to the Great Cotte Falls. He created a sensor, to help detect enemies without the help of the Auto-Levs. He wants some help installing the sensors, with the first one being at the Old Cliffside Way.

Fast travel to the Old Way Camp, which is east of Colony Lambda, then climb the hill just west to the marker. The scene here will have Varen install the first sensor, so it’s time to move onto the second one, in the Urayan Tunnels. Fast travel to the Myma Gate landmark and head west, through the big doors that mark the entrance/exit to the Urayan Tunnels. Approach the marker for another scene, then it’ll be off to the next site. Fast travel to the Aquifer Exhaust landmark, which will put you right next to the marker.

You will be setting up these sensors by just visiting specified locations

While Varen is installing the third sensor, he receives a call to return to the Old Cliffside Way, so head back there using the same way as above. There will be another scene here, then you will need to return to Colony Lambda. Speak to Varen one last time, at the entrance to the colony, to finish the quest.
