Steps¶

1. Go to Liyue’s Institute for Toy Research
2. Enter the Institute for Toy Research
3. Find Childe and talk to him
4. Talk to Teucer
5. Return to the Northland Bank

Go to Liyue’s Institute for Toy Research¶

Teleport to the Statue of the Seven in Lingju Pass and glide west to the ruin at the edge of the mountain, you’ll get a short scene and then you will have the option to enter the One-time Domain “The Wonderful World Of Mr. Cyclops”

Enter the Institute for Toy Research¶

As you enter, another scene occurs and Teucer rushes forward with a door closing behind him, leaving the party to find an alternative route.

Go to the right of the door and drop down, here there is a game mechanic which requires you to activate a totem with Hydro energy which will raise the water levels. Activate the first totem and head south as soon as you do to open a Common Chest, head back to the first totem, activate it and instantly go to the southeast and go up the stairs.

As you reach the top, the totems will be sealed requiring you to eliminate the enemies, you’ll have one Large Pyro Slime and four Pyro Slimes, defeat them with Hydro and Cryo. After they’ve been defeated, activate all three totems and then activate the device, this will give you a cut scene.

After the scene finishes, head to the east, down the stairs and then turn to the north and open up the Common Chest which is next to the Door of Resurrection. Go to the South and follow the path around the corner and drop down.

Here you’ll face three Large Electro Slimes, attack them with Pyro to take them down quickly then another group will appear consisting of two Large Electro Slimes, one Large Pyro Slime and two Electro Slimes, use Pyro on the Electro Slimes and Hydro or Cryo on the Pyro Slime.

Enter the now opened door in the north and go across the water, as you get about half way across the water, you’ll notice a spider on a web to your right, attack it and then open the Common Chest hidden behind it, as you go to open it, some Pyro Slimes will spawn, defeat them and continue to open the chest.

Go back to the water and continue north up the stairs and activate the device, after a short scene, you’ll be in a room which has lasers going from left to right, the idea here is to go past as the Ruin Guard on the conveyer belt to your east blocks them. As soon as the first lasers are blocked jump and glide over to the small platform to the east and open the Common Chest, follow the ramp up and then jump and glide back across when the lasers have been blocked, continue north, up the ramp and then go down the stairs counter-clockwise.

Go to the gate and you’ll see a switch just above it, attack it with a ranged character, this will open the way for Teucer and Childe to reunite, as Teucer reaches you, a small scene will occur.

Find Childe and talk to him¶

Teucer will run off looking for Childe as he thinks he’s playing Hide and Seek, use this time to find him yourself, go to the northwest corner and you’ll see an exhausted Childe in the corner, another short scene will occur and then he’ll go leaving you a Mr. Cyclops Action Figure to give to Teucer in his absence.

Talk to Teucer¶

Catch up with Teucer and explain that his brother had to leave in a hurry and then give the action figure to him and he’ll agree to go back to Snezhnaya, after the scene, open the Precious Chest and leave the domain.

Return to the Northland Bank¶

Teleport to Liyue Harbor and head south, follow the path to the red stairs, then follow that up to the top and enter the Northland Bank. After the scene ends, the quest will be complete.
