How to complete Amber’s Story Quest License to Glide¶
License to Glide is the second quest of Amber’s story quest: Wind, Courage, and Wings. This page is will walk you through all possible steps to complete it.

Reach Adventure Rank 8 and complete the Archon Questline: The Outlander Who Caught the Wind.

Description¶
Amber has specially prepared a gliding exam for you. She has also provided a gliding manual, which she has asked you to read before taking the exam.
Steps¶
Go to the exam point¶
The exam point is at Galesong Hill, Mondstadt. To get there, teleport to the Windrise Statue of the Seven, and head south across the river, where you’ll find Amber waiting for you, by the edge of a cliff. Head over, and talk to her for a scene. She’ll ask if you read through the gliding manual, and Paimon will tell her about the books stories, Amber will realize that she gave you the wrong book, and that the book is what she used to read as a child. She’ll tell you that you need to glide through the route to the finish line.
Follow the route and fly to the finish line in time¶
You’ll have sixty seconds to complete the course in. Once the countdown gets to zero, jump off the cliff, and glide through the white acceleration circles in front of you, these will give you a small speed boost whenever you go through one. After you go through the first set, continue north, and you’ll see the next set, above the large tree.
Go through that set of circles, then start heading to the northeast, where you’ll notice the next set. This set has several smaller sets of circles that zigzag to the left and right, as you get to the end of them, you’ll have two more facing to the ground, go through them, and speak to Amber to finish the challenge. She’ll tell you that you nailed it, and the next part of the exam is in Mondstadt, then the quest will end.
