Once you get to Altar III and IV at Adventure Rank 30 and 40 you will need to bring in a specific party because the higher tiers can be difficult to finish in the allotted time.
As these are all Hydro enemies, Cryo and Pyro will work best here because Cryo will trigger Frozen which is also what the Abyss Mages shield is weak to, if you follow up with Pyro you will trigger Melt or Vaporize .
