Echoing Tales is an Event added in version 1.6 of Genshin Impact, it takes place on the limited timed map, The Golen Apple Archipelago. The main reward for this event is Barbara’s Character Outfit, Summertime Sparkle, which can be obtained after getting 24 conches.

How to Unlock Echoing Tales¶
Echoing Tales is unlocked via the Event menu in game, providing you are at least Adventure Rank 21 or higher.
What is Echoing Tales¶
Echoing Tales takes place on The Golden Apple Archipelago, as you traverse the ocean, and explore the islands, you’ll come across little conches hidden on them, you’ll see a conch icon on your mini-map to let you know one is nearby. At first, you’ll only have access to five conches, and as you complete the second act of the Mysterious Islands: Journey to the Unknown quest line, more islands will rise up from the sea, giving you access to 23 conches.
Finally, completing the third act will give you access to the final four conches, giving you a total of 32. When you interact with the conches, you’ll get some voiced tales, which can be listened to again in the event menu, these tales tell you mini-stories of people who presumably lived there in ages past.
Rewards¶
There are a lot of great rewards here, from Talent Materials, Mora and Primogems to Barbara’s new Character Outfit, Summertime Sparkle.
