Strategy¶

The second day’s course, Spread Your Wings ramps up the difficulty a little as it expects you to get acquainted with the Ascend ability. You can begin it by activating the pedestal in Huaguang Stone Forest, Liyue, just next to the northern Waypoint.

Begin by using the gust of wind to gain some height and then as you pass through the first ring, use Ascend to gain height and drop toward the 1st Insignia. You may have to wait a little to drop toward it but be sure to wait until you snatch it and then grabbing the next particle should be enough to store a boost. Through the next ring, you’ll need to use Ascend on the corner ring to get the height needed for the 2nd Insignia and then use a Boost to maintain height through the next rings.

As you reach the next set of rings, laid out in a straight line, use Ascend after the first to gain the height needed for the 3rd and 4th Insignias before using another boost to shoot through the remaining rings. The 5th Insignia will require you to drop below it while you wait for your cooldown on Ascend to finish and then use it to gain the height to grab the final Insignia and drop to the goal. With all 5 Insignias collected, this should be more than enough to score the Gold Medal for this course.
