How to complete Live Practice¶

To begin this quest, go to the Quest menu, then go to the Story sub-menu and then go to the second page. This is where you will find all the Hangout Events in the future. Click on Noelle and confirm, a popup will now appear and ask if you want to spend two story keys to unlock “Chivalric Training”, confirm that, and you’ll get the first quest. To earn Story Keys, you need to complete eight daily commissions.

What are daily commissions?¶

Daily commissions are the purple quest icon in-game. You get four every day, and they reward you with 250 Adventure EXP for each quest as well as a small amount of Primogems, after eight of these commissions are completed, you’ll receive a story key. The quests themselves are normally short, defeat enemy type quests.

Use the Timeline to plan the path you want to take.

Look for slimes in Mondstadt’s outskirts¶

Teleport to the waypoint north of Wolvendom and head east and you’ll get a scene with some Geo Slimes.

Defeat the Geo Slimes¶

There are four Slimes to defeat in just over a minute, attack them with normal attacks and they’ll go down in no time. Once they are defeated, it’s time for her next target.

Look for the next training target¶

Head northwest, over the rocky ledges and you’ll encounter four Dendro Slimes.

Defeat the Dendro Slimes¶

You’ll have 25 seconds to do this and no matter what you do, you’ll fail the challenge, mainly due to them hiding underground. Although the Challenge will fail, the quest won’t. Time for the next target.

Defeat the Eye of the Storm¶

Head northwest, over some more rocky ledges and you’ll encounter another impossible task, defeat the Eye of the Storm in 25 seconds, try your best but you won’t have the time to defeat it and another Challenge Failed will appear. After the time has elapsed, you’ll get a scene with Noelle, none of the choices change anything here and Noelle will get the choice of the final target.

Head to the nearby hilichurl camp¶

Go southwest and you’ll see one Geo Samachurl, one Hilichurl Guard, one Hilichurl Grenadier and three Pyro Hilichurl Shooters. The Geo Samachurl will raise platforms for the Shooters to attack you from so make the Samachurl a priority, then the Shooters and then finally the rest. You can use your other party members for this task including Noelle so feel free to switch between them. Make sure to keep a shield up as often as possible and you shouldn’t have any problems.

Talk to Henning¶

Defeating the Hilichurls saved Henning from a tough predicament, talk to him and you’ll get a scene, once it ends, so will the quest, giving you Ending 1 - A Defender’s Will Is Their Strength
