Description

After arriving at Seirai island, you meet two adventurers who are currently investigating something known as a Warding Stone. But following the footprints of a cat, you arrive at a dilapidated shrine, in which sits a cat named “Neko,” who proclaims itself to be the “provisional head priestess of the Asase Shrine.” After you help “Neko” repair the shrine’s Offering Box, it reveals the method of sealing the Warding Stones to you. Additionally, you learn that should you be able to seal all four Warding Stones throughout Seirai Island, you can calm the thunderstorm that enshrouds it.

Steps

  1. Go to seal the Warding Stone
  2. Defeat all opponents
  3. Touch the paper charm hangars
  4. Seal the Warding Stone
  5. Talk to Eiko

Go to seal the Warding Stone

This quest starts immediately upon completion of Part I. This warding stone is the second out of the four, and it can be found at the northeast of Seirai Island. Teleport to the waypoint there if you have it, if not, work your way over to it. From the waypoint, you’ll see two of the sealed paper charm hangars, as you approach them, you’ll be attacked.

The second warding stone can be found northeast of Seirai Island. It can be seen just in front of the teleport waypoint.

Defeat all opponents

You’ll have to defeat one Nobushi: Hitsukeban, one Nobushi: Kikouban, and one Kairagi: Dancing Thunder. These enemies hit quite hard, but they’re predictable with their attacks, which makes them easier to avoid, as they like to charge up their attack. Wait for an opening, which is usually after you dodge their attack then take them out with a Cryo or Pyro user, a shield user is also good to have against these, especially if you fail to dodge their attack. When they’re defeated, head over to the paper charms.

Cryo works a treat against these Samurai, especially if it’s been raining.

Touch the paper charm hangars

The first two charms are in your vicinity, the last charm can be found on a floating rock to the northeast. Head over there, and climb the mountain to find a phase gate, head through it, and jump off when you see the paper charm. Interact with it to unseal it, then head back to the warding stone.

(1 of 5) Two of the paper hangars are in front of the teleport waypoint, one in the north

Seal the Warding Stone

The north hangar has two pieces of paper charms, the northeast hangar has three pieces of paper charms, and finally, the west hangar has four pieces of paper charms. To solve the puzzle, rotate the top part of the warding stone three times. When it’s completed, you’ll get a short scene, then speak to Eiko and Taisuke.

Rotate the top portion of the warding stone three times to complete the puzzle.

Talk to Eiko

Walk over to Eiko, who is now standing by the warding stone, and she’ll confirm that the second stone has been sealed, and there is two more to go. After speaking to her, the quest will end, and the next part will immediately begin.
