How to complete Amber’s Story Quest They Call Him Raptor¶

Mondstadt Glider is the fourth quest of Amber’s story quest: Wind, Courage, and Wings. This page will walk you through all possible steps to complete it.

The Traveler is in Springvale to track down the elusive Glider thief, Raptor.

Description¶

During the exam, you were mistaken for the thief Raptor by Otto, a Knight of Favonius, and were stopped. After clearing the misunderstanding, you volunteer to help arrest Raptor — and so begins the chase.

Steps¶

Track Raptor¶

Teleport to the Springvale waypoint or follow the path out of Mondstadt southwest if you don’t have it unlocked, and head to the objectiver marker to trigger a cut scene. Amber will tell you that this is Raptor’s last known whereabouts, and that the Sister coated the artifact with Anemo markings. Paimon will tell you to use your Elemental Sight to help you find any clues.

Look for clues to track Raptor (0/3)¶

Use your Elemental Sight, and you’ll find one clue right in front of you, head over, and interact with it to collect a Broken-off branch. The next clue can be found to the southwest a little, over the rocky hill, by a tree, interact with it to get a Fabric Piece. Finally, the last clue can be found to the north, by the water, once again, interact with it to find an Elemental Mark, which’ll trigger a scene. Amber will tell you that the Elemental Marks are pointing this way, then Paimon will hear some fighting in the background, and suggests that it may be Raptor.

Investigate the strange sound up ahead¶

Follow the path southwest, and you’ll spot a couple of Hilichurls harrasing a Fruit Vendor. Use Amber’s Pyro skills to take care of the Hilichurl’s shield and defeat them.

Talk to Farrah¶

Once they’ve been defeated, you’ll get a scene with Farrah. Amber will ask what happened, and he’ll explain that the Hilichurls attacked his cart, but he outran them, and he’ll also tell you that some guy fell from the sky into a Hilichurl camp nearby. The group will deduce that it could be Raptor, and Amber will suggest checking it out.

Look for Raptor¶

Follow the dusty path to the southwest, and you’ll get ambushed by a group of Treasure Hoarders, they shouldn’t pose much of a threat, so defeat them and the objective will update.

Look for the marks left by Raptor¶

At the crossroad, turn south, and follow the path to get another scene. Apparently there are no more Elemental Markings to follow, and Amber will assume that Raptor used the ambush to escape, she’ll be adamant that he won’t escape, then the scene and quest will end.
