Description¶

Recommended Party¶
Once you get to Altar III and IV at Adventure Rank 30 and 40 you will need to bring in a specific party because the higher tiers can be difficult to finish in the allotted time.
Fires of Purification I¶
In here you will fight Cryo Slimes, Hydro Slimes, Hilichurls and a Cryo Abyss Mage. Having at least two Pyro members to trigger the Melt status by constantly switching their Elemental Skills of cooldown will make quick work of these. Klee and Diluc are especially good here because of their wide range of AoE. Bringing a Healer like Bennett for his Fantastic Voyage which is also a Pyro skill to deal damage as well as heal at the same time.
Fires of Purification II¶
Bringing two Pyro, one Cryo as well as a Hydro healer will make things a lot easier here. The hardest part of this battle is the Fatui Electro Cicin Mage which can wipe a unprepared party pretty quickly because they can summon adds called Cicins as well as cast Thunderbolt which drops bolts of electro down upon you.
Use Cryo skills to take their shield down quickly and then switch to your Pyro members to burn it down with their Elementa Bursts if they are up or their Elemental Skills if they’re not.
Fires of Purification III¶
You can use the same setup from the first battle as you will only be fighting Cryo based enemies and Pyro will take them down quickly.
Fires of Purification IV¶
This can be tough due to having a Hydro Abyss Mage as well as a Hydro Samachurl with some Hydro Slimes chucked in. The Hydro Samachurl will Heal its allies by casting a rain like spell, they also cause water to burst underneath you for constant minor damage that adds up, finally they can also cast a Hydro Bubbles spell which can trap you in them making you an easier target for its allies. This enemy needs to go down first and by using your strongest single target damage dealer will be the quickest way to take it down. Taking at least two Cryo members is key to this battle as it is strong against the enemies here and it can freeze them due to them being Hydro based. Cryo is also the Hydro Abyss Mages weakness and quickest way to take down its shield.
