Description¶

As you play through the Theater Mechanicus Game Mode you’ll notice there’s 10 Challenges to complete which rewards you with Peace Talismans that can be spent in the [Xiao Store].

Challenges¶

Clear a stage at difficulty 1 or higher in Theater Mechanicus.
Clear a stage at difficulty 2 or higher with a score of at least 420 points in Theater Mechanicus.
Clear a stage at difficulty 3 or higher with a score of at least 490 points in Theater Mechanicus.
Clear a stage at difficulty 4 or higher with a score of at least 560 points in Theater Mechanicus.
Clear a stage at difficulty 2 or higher in Theater Mechanicus while defeating all monsters.
Clear a stage at difficulty 3 or higher in Theater Mechanicus while defeating all monsters.
Clear a stage at difficulty 4 or higher in Theater Mechanicus while defeating all monsters.
Raise any 4 Mechanici to Lv. 4 in Theater Mechanicus.
Raise any 5 Mechanici to Lv. 5 in Theater Mechanicus.
Raise any 6 Mechanici to Lv. 6 in Theater Mechanicus.

Mechanici Related Challenges¶

Three of the 10 Challenges require you to Level the Tidal Flats, Spark, Thin Ice, Gust, Thunderstrike, and Recovery Mechanicus: Mark 1 Mechanici to Level 6. Your first task here is to keep playing the mode until you have access to Difficulty 4: Multiplier 1.6. Whilst doing this, continue upgrading the Recovery Mechanicus to Level 3, as this increases the amount of Veneficus Sigil you gain.

Once you’ve gained access to Difficulty 4, continue replaying it whilst placing at least two to three Recovery Mechanicus’ around the arena and make sure to attempt the Fearless Mystic Art that comes available, as this will give you more Sigils. Your goal is to finish the game with 1,200 Veneficus Sigil, as this is the maximum you can bring back. Before you proceed into the game, make sure to work your way down the list of Mechanici and level them all equally, so to four, five, and six.

Difficulty Related Challenges¶

The first challenge “Clear a stage at difficulty 1 or higher in Theater Mechanicus” can be done easily whilst trying out the mode, but before you attempt the more difficult ones, you’ll want to make sure you have fully upgraded the six available Mechanici by using the method above, then go into a Difficulty 4 game.

For the challenges that require you to defeat all enemies, make sure you avoid the Fearless Mystic Art and pick Mystic Arts that benefit that particular round, so if you’re facing Pyro enemies you’ll want an Art that is strong against them, so “(Cryo/Hydro/Anemo) Mechanici ATK 75%” for instance.

However, if you’re aiming for the challenge that requires you to finish with a certain amount of points, make sure to only place Mechanici where absolutely necessary, so cover all choke points with only the correct element, as having a Pyro Mechanici against Pyro enemies is a waste and will result in the enemies easily getting through. Finally, make sure to attempt the Fearless Mystic Arts at an early stage to build up your points.
