This is a walkthrough for the Archon Quest “In the Name of the Resistance” which is the second quest in Chapter 2 - Act 2: Stillness, the Sublimation of Shadow. Here, you’ll find a complete walkthrough for the entire quest.

Description¶

Your first meeting with the Raiden Shogun leads to a clash beyond your expectations. With a warrant out for you, your only option to reverse the situation now is to throw your lot in with the Sangonomiya Resistance.

Steps¶

Gather Intel at Tatarasuna¶

Once you’ve managed to escape Inazuma City after the very difficult showdown against Raiden Shogun, you’ll need to contact the Sangonomiya Resistance to help back you up now that you’re on the Wanted List. Travel over to the Kujou Encampment and listen in on Ishihara and Takyama’s conversation to get information on the resistance’s whereabouts.

Head southwest of your current location to find Jiichirou and Sakamoto. Listen in on the conversation to discover that the Resistance is battling the Shogun’s Army at Nazuchi Beach. Make your way over to the beach and you’ll find two Shogun Army soldiers surrounding a member of the Resistance. Defeat them, then speak with Teppei and he’ll take you back to the Resistance Camp.

Give material that can be used as medicine¶

Upon arriving at the camp, speak with the General, Gorou and he’ll tell you that the goal of the Resistance is to defeat the Shogun’s Army and repel the Vision Hunt Decree. After the conversation has come to a close, walk around the camp and speak with Tokuda. He’ll want you to give him either Onikabuto or Wolfhook for his Remedy he’s creating.

Demonstrate Archery Technique to the Resistance¶

Head further down the camp and speak with Shouji and Hisahiko to find out they’re having difficulty with their Archery Training. After a little chatter, you’ll now need to change over to a character who uses a Bow and demonstrate how to successfully use it. Your objective is to take out 20 blue targets without hitting any red ones which will result in failure.

After you’ve finished your demonstration Shouji and Hisahiko will tell you what they need to improve on along with the backstory on why they decided to join the Resistance.

Defeat the Shogunate Army Squad attempting a sneak attack¶

The Shogunate Army have found a weakness in the Resistance Camps perimeter and are attempting a surprise attack. Take them down, then exit the camp from where the Shogunate Army entered from and hug the wall until a prompt to repair the wall appears. After the repairs have been completed, return to where you spoke to Gorou to discover he’s nowhere to be found. Thankfully, Kaida Ryouma is able to inform you on the current situation.

Defeat the Shogunate Forces¶

Head back over to Nazuzchi Beach to find both Kujou Sara attempting to get Gorou to hand you over to prevent bloodshed. Gorou refuses to hand you over and you arrive just in time before any battles begin. Here Kujou Sara proposes a duel between the best fighter from each side.

Here you’ll now have to take down three soldiers, but thankfully they’re pretty easy to defeat, then you’ll fight off the remaining Shogunate Soldiers with Sangonmiya Kokomi assistance. Finally, speak with her to bring this quest to a close.
