You and Paimon went outside Liyue, intending to set off on an adventure..
Steps¶
- Leave Liyue Harbor
- Accompany Mona to say farewell to Mr. Zhu
- Attract slimes and reclaim Mr. Zhu’s lost ring
- Defeat the slimes and search for the ring
- Give the ring back to Mr. Zhu
Leave Liyue Harbor¶
With the Quest unlocked, you’ll be prompted to leave Liyue Harbor, if you’re not in Liyue, teleport to the Statue of the Seven just outside it and follow the path south/southwest, as you follow the path you’ll see Mona waiting for you, walk towards her and you’ll get a scene, after the scene she’ll tell you that she wants to say goodbye to Mr. Zhu.
Accompany Mona to say farewell to Mr. Zhu¶
Head northwest, over some hills and you’ll see Mr. Zhu’s abode, walk up to him and you’ll get a short scene. He’ll tell you that he’s lost a ring and that he thinks a Slime swallowed it up, after some bickering with Mona, you agree to help him get it back.
Attract slimes and reclaim Mr. Zhu’s lost ring¶
Take the Elemental Bait to the northeast and place it on the path, this will trigger a battle.

Defeat the slimes and search for the ring¶
The battle will start off with one Large Cryo Slime and two Electro Slimes, switch to a Pyro character and take them down, next up is one Large Pyro Slime and one Mutant Electro Slime, use a Cryo character to defeat them. Once they’re down, you’ll have another group but this time it will be one Large Cryo Slime and two Hydro Slimes, Electro and Pyro work best for these, defeat them and you’ll eventually receive the Nephrite Ring that Mr. Zhu had lost.
Give the ring back to Mr. Zhu¶
Head back to Mr. Zhu for your reward.
After a short scene with Paimon, head back up the path and return the ring to Mr. Zhu, this will complete the quest.
