How to complete the Archon Quest An Impromptu Change of Plan¶
This page is designed to help you progress through the main story quest, known as Archon Quests in Genshin Impact. This specific page is the second quest of Chapter 1, Act 1: Of the Land Amidst the Monoliths, and will guide you where you need to go, and who you need to talk to.

Description¶
During the rite, the appointed moment arrived. Yet when the clouds parted, a divine carcass crashed down to earth, knocking all the offerings over. Amid the chaos and confusion, the Qixing ordered that the assassin be arrested. Unable to prove your innocence, you were forced to accept the help of Childe of the Fatui, and as suggested by him, you are now headed for Jueyun Karst, a hidden abode where the adepti dwell…

Steps¶
Meet the adepti in Jueyun Karst¶
Jueyun Karst can be found in the northwest of the Liyue region. The easiest way to get there is, teleport to the Wangshu Inn, and then following the path south until you reach a crossroad, then take the path to the west until you reach Qingyun Peak. When you get there, you’ll want to be on ground level, next to the Statue of the Seven, this’ll trigger a cut scene when you get near to it. You’ll be spoken to a deer like creature, and it’ll ask you what right you have to be in Jueyun Karst, show it the Sigil of Permission, and it’ll be surprised you have one, as they haven’t been given out in a long time. You’ll find out that it is the Adeptus Mooncarver. Whilst in conversation, you’ll be interuppted by the Millelith, calling you an assasin, and Mooncarver will tell you to deal with them.
Fight with support from the adepti¶
You’ll have to battle around 20 of the Millelith, in waves, but because of the Adepti, your Elemental Skills and Bursts will recharge very quickly, make use of this, by using your hardest hitting Bursts as often as you can to defeat them without even breaking a sweat. Once they’ve been dealt withm you’ll continue the conversation with Mooncarver, and it’ll be furious about the events that transpired with Rex Lapis. You’ll get new orders from it, and the quest will end, opening up three new quests, these can be done in any order, but we’ll start with Wangshu quest first.
