How to complete Something… Other Than Adventure?¶

To begin this quest, go to the Quest menu, then go to the Story sub-menu and then go to the second page. This is where you will find all the Hangout Events in the future. Click on Bennett and confirm, a popup will now appear and ask if you want to spend two story keys to unlock “Fantastic Voyage”, confirm that, and you’ll get the first quest. To earn Story Keys, you need to complete eight daily commissions.

What are daily commissions?¶

Daily commissions are the purple quest icon in-game. You get four every day, and they reward you with 250 Adventure EXP for each quest as well as a small amount of Primogems, after eight of these commissions are completed, you’ll receive a story key. The quests themselves are normally short, defeat enemy type quests.

Accompany Bennett to go shopping¶

Follow Bennett over to Marjorie’s souvenir shop and then speak to him to get a scene. Bennett will ask Marjorie if his order has arrived yet, which is a Herman Custom Adventure Map, to which she’ll reply, that it has, but some unfortunate incidents occurred and the cart tipped over, and the map fell in a puddle ruining the map. You’ll get a few choices, but they won’t change any outcome, and Bennett will suggest you head to the Good Hunter restaurant.

Go to Good Hunter¶

Head over to the Good Hunter that can be found opposite of the souvenir shop and speak to Bennett for a scene. He’ll ask for a table for two but unfortunately, Sara will tell you that they’re too busy to serve anyone today as they’ve a big order to fulfil. Again you’ll get a couple of choices which won’t change any outcome, so feel free to choose whatever you fancy. After that, Bennett will suggest getting some supplies from the General Goods store.

Go to Mondstadt General Goods¶

The General Goods store can be found opposite of the Good Hunter, next to Marjorie’s souvenir shop, head over there and speak to Bennett again for another scene. It appears that Blanche, the General Goods proprietor isn’t there and Bennett will spot a 50% discount on all items on the bulletin board nearby. You’ll get a few choices, but it won’t change any outcome other than when Bennett says…I guess I overestimated my luck, haha. This’ll give you the following two options:

“It’s just a coincidence…”¶

Choose this to keep Bennett happy.

“I have to say, I ran out of patience long ago…”¶

This choice will make you lose 1 heart.

These choices won’t change any outcome but one of them will upset Bennett a little. Eventually Blanche will turn up, and tell you that she posted a sign saying she was closed today, but it must’ve blown away, and that the discount was yesterday. She apologizes for any confusion and the quest will end, rewarding you with Ending 1 - Fruitless Anticipation.
