Fishing is a relaxing mechanic that has stayed popular since its introduction into Genshin Impact in version 2.1. The fishing mechanics will be familiar to those who’ve played life sim gamers and are easy to handle. Sumeru Fishing Association Location¶

The Sumeru Fishing Association is located near Port Ormos in the southern part of Sumeru, the association will be automatically marked on your map. Here you will find Loumelat fishing along the pier above the port. You can get the following items by trading fish with her, all of which can be found in one of the nine fishing spots around the Sumeru Rainforest and Desert.

Sumeru Rainforest Fishing Spots¶

There are a total of seven spots to fish around the rainforest areas of Sumeru. Most spots are easy to find, and you won’t need to complete the Aranyaka quest line to unlock them. Below is the location of each individual spot, as well as, what fish will spawn there at what time and the bait you should use to catch them.

Sumeru Desert Fishing Spots¶
Fishing locations in the Sumeru Desert via the Teyvat Interactive Map.
The Sumeru desert is a mostly dry area with a few Oasis scattered about. The major source of water in the area is at the base of Aaru Village. Due to this scarcity, fishing spots are incredibly limited in the desert. There are only two spots where you will be able to catch fish.
