Description¶
The Gliding Challenge is an event that takes place between December 4, 2020 - December 14, 2020 and sees Adventurers take to the skies in numerous Gliding Courses throughout Teyvat in a bid to reach the high-score for some useful items. A new course will unlock on each day the event is active however you’ll have to ensure you’re at least Adventure Rank 20 and have completed the Quest, Fly High.
Fly High¶
On the first day of the event, make your way to the cliffs to the southeast of Luhua Pool and you’ll find an Adventurer by the name of Hughes. He’ll give you a short explanation on his plans and will mark the first day’s Course on the map for you, followed by a short explanation.

Ascend - While taking part in these Challenges, you’ll have the ability to use the Ascend skill. This will, as you may expect, cause your character to rise, useful for reaching rings that may just be out of reach.

Sprint - Additionally, during the Challenges, you may spot particles, collect these to fill the Sprint Gauge for a maximum of two uses. This will cause a burst of speed that propels you forward so take care to use it on a straight rather than taking a corner.

Insignias - Finally, each course features five hidden Insignias, collecting them will give you a score multiplier at the finish line and can often be the difference in reaching that high score, even if you’re a little slower in the process of collecting them.
